Description of the South Lake Tahoe vacation cabin rental
Come stay with all the amenities necessary for a relaxing vacation! Three short blocks to the lake, within one block of four excellent restaurants, just one mile from the casinos, and just three minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort (Free shuttle pick up 2 blocks away)! This cabin sleeps six adults comfortably. It is tastefully decorated and has a plasma TV with digital cable, Blu-ray DVD, and WiFi. There is a vast library of DVD movies available for your viewing. (PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY MOVIES HOME SOUVENIRS SINCE YOU MAY FORFEIT YOUR $250 SECURITY DEPOSIT)! There is also a wood burning stove in the family room. Yes, you can also bring your pets! Linens and towels included, we ask that you do some basic cleaning before you leave. Get your money's worth on this cabin so, you can have fun at the casino's! There are two video game systems, Nintendo Wii as well as a Play Station 2 with too many games to list here & DVD player.
MAJOR HOLIDAY RATES: $200/night Mon. thru Thurs, $250/night Fri, Sat., Sun, with a 4 night minimum stay.
Cleaning fee collected on all rentals is $95, $110 if bringing pets.
Taxes include a 10% hotel tax and an additional City tax of $4.50/night

Enjoyed my stay very much with various family members in and out and my two Golden Retrievers in snow heaven. It is a delightful, rustically decorated Old Tahoe style cabin. Everything from linens, kitchen ware, microwave,washer/dryer, comfy beds and furniture was there. The owner, Keith was great communicating with me all along. Will definitely go back. Have stayed in many rentals in the North West and this by far was the best. A wonderful time was had by all!!!!!!!! Great place.

My family and I were up there for my husband's birthday and it was amazing. We were close enough to the restaurants and casinos, it was quite convenient. The cabin is quite cozy and charming. We will be up there again shortly.

Great Little Cabin!

I stayed in the cabin with my two little pooches. The cabin was clean and tidy, all the amenities I could possible need, and the decor was very Tahoe! The dogs loved the backyard, which was very secure with a 6 foot high fence. After playing all day, it was great to come back and BBQ and relax with one of the DVD's (LOTS to choose from!). Keith was very easy to deal with, and very patient with me when I called when I was unable to figure out the TV remote! He talked me through it step-by-step and I was a remote expert! I would definitely recommend this cabin!

This is a great cabin. Walking distance to food, easy drive to all the charms of South Lake Tahoe. Plenty warm, and very comfortable. I would stay here again without any hesitation. There were 5 of us, and we all plenty of space.

This was a nice cabin. It was close to everything. Really comfortable. GREAT fenced yard. The owner is EXCELLENT to work with. Pots and pans to cook in a little short. LOVED the crock pot. Thanks for washer & dryer. We felt great warm homey spirit here. The neighborhood was quite busy and noisy late at night the week we were here. People drive VERY fast down this road. OVERALL we loved it really. It was a little difficult for us with upstairs sleeping. We had a senior dog we carried up and down... and both of us had a senior dog so one of us had to carry no matter what. We didn't have time for TV but the setup looked nice. LOVED the wi-fi and this was one big factor in choosing this cabin. LOVED the Christmas Lights and AUTO lights on backyard entrance and outside. Very helpful. The dishes had to be washed before we used them, they weren't very clean. Overall great experience, we noticed many of the little touches that make this cabin so special. THANK YOU THANK YOU for being pet friendly and accepting our multiple dogs.

Great place for a snow visit

We spent a long weekend at this cozy cabin with our toddler and baby. It was a great place to stay with kids (we were pleasantly surprised to find some toys and a safety gate) and introduce them to the snow. Since we had our little ones we did not take advantage of the proximity to restaurants, casinos, etc., but the cabin was perfect for "staying put" too - we ate all of our meals in the well-equiped kitchen, watched a couple of DVDs (HUGE selection), and our toddler loved the kids loft upstairs. We would love to go back in the summer.

Looks deceivingly small from the exterior, but has ample room. The place is well kept. A wood fireplace, washer and dryer, 2 bedrooms with another attic-type room that includes two additional beds make for a quaint and accommodating stay. There's an extensive DVD library, flat screen TV, Blu-ray player, Wii and a PS2 (upstairs) to keep you entertained if you decide to stay in. Would definitely recommend this place, but be cautious if you're allergic to pet hair as the owner allows pets.

We stayed in the cabin for three nights and loved it. The cabin is close to the lake and the stateline area. The cabin has a cute wood stove which added a nice touch. We enjoyed out stay.

We have stayed at the cabin twice and have enjoyed it both times. It has all the comforts of home including the Playstation which the kids love. It is a short stroll to the beach where we rent kayaks and lay in the sun.

I spent the weekend at this cabin and it was perfect. The cabin had everything we needed and was so cozy...I slept so well! It was great to just relax and enjoy the area. You can walk to some great restaurants (Riva Grill, The Red Hut, Scuza) and there you can hike around the base of Heavenly. It is great to be close enough to restaurants and not have to worry about driving, while still being close to hiking areas. The cabin had all of the "little extras" that you forgot you wanted to bring (DVDs, books, kids' toys). I would rent this place again in a minute.

Very nice cozy cabin. Short walk to the beach or to base of Heavenly ski resort. Kid friendly, our 2 had a blast(7&5year old). Short drive to downtown/casinos. Perfect for sun, snow and biking.

My family spent a three day weekend in this cabin in February and it was everything we wanted and more. It had a very cozy cabin feel to it and provided absolutely everything we needed. It is within walking distance of most everything you could want to do in South Lake. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone whether you want to take the whole family, get away with friends or just have a romantic weekend with your significant other.

My family has stayed at this cabin twice and we really enjoyed it. It has everything you need and is close to everything also. If you just want to stay in and relax, there are soooooo many movies to watch, they have quite the library. Little ones will like the "small room" upstairs, it's like a private hideaway (my big kids spent a lot of time in there playing video games). We will definitely be back.

If your a low key skier or boarder the place is well worth it and comfortable.......Decent kitchen, bathroom, all the stuff you need and owners were very helpful......
