Charming simple cabin perched on a mountainside with spectacular views. Very private, very rare. One room sleeps four, space for more on deck. Beds roll. Fully equipped simple kitchen, bathroom.
Woods behind, mountain views fabulous in all directions. Unparalleled star watching.
Very reasonable rates: by the night, the weekend, or a full week (any 7 days). On a few openings remain this season.

Area Description
Only one cabin nearby. 10 minute walk to lovely small lake (Lily)and trailhead into Desolation Wilderness Area. Many great trails nearby. 25 minute walk to Fallen Leaf Lake (the world’s most beautiful place), where there is a small store and café and swimming. 20 minute drive to south Tahoe beaches (Kiva, Valhalla, Pope).
Uniquely peaceful and private. For mountain lovers. Just you, the mountains, trees, birds, and sky. Art supplies, books, toys, games, binoculars, trail guides, etc all for your use. Small lake 10 min downhill walk. Inflatable kayak. Lovely cafe on deck overlooking Fallen Leaf Lake 1 1/2 mile down road.
