Description of the South Lake Tahoe vacation chalet rental

Heavenly Valley Chalet - 3 bedroom, sleeps 10. The house is 3 blocks from Heavenly Valley ski lift, one mile to the lake and two miles from the casinos. The home has a deck with bar-b-que and is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with only six homes. The area is secluded, yet close to shopping and other amenities.

The chalet was just as it was advertised. Small, but cozy. Plenty of room for 10 to sleep. Easy to get to the snow, and downtown from the house. The kitchen is older, but very functional. For the price this was a great deal!! We had a great time!

This 6 bed (4 doubles) house near the base lodge of Heavenly was an ideal place for my friends and I to stay for a week. It's well priced and had everything we needed for cooking, washing, laundry etc. With its six beds, larger numbers of people may need to share or use air beds, however there is plenty of space and the house can easily accommodate the maximum of ten people. One potential limitation is parking, the limit of three cars should be taken seriously, and might cause problems. Best to check out options before going if you intend to have more than three. The landlord is easy to get on with, so it may well be possible to work something out. We had a great time, Niall

What a great comfy, cozy cabin. We went up for a friends birthday and had such a good time. Built a fire that warmed the entire place. Watching the snow from the two sliders in the living room was heaven. Great place for groups. Can't wait for our next trip!

The house was just what we wanted - not posh but homely. Comfy, cosy and so close to the lifts it was a breeze being there for first lift! Overall there was pretty much all you needed to self cater really well. I'd recommend it to friends, and may even return. Great for three couples if you want a room each. Just needs some good chef's knives (a pet foible of mine)!

Christmas ski vacation

The kitchen is better equipped than my home. The living room is comfortable with a full couch with recliners on the ends, two more recliners and a nice TV with cable. As advertised, it is close to Heavenly & casinos. We stayed for a full week so the washer/dryer came in handy. The only problem was the upstairs bedroom doesn't get any heat, but it's OK if the door is left open. I would definetly stay here again.
