Description of the South Lake Tahoe vacation condo rental
Cross-country skiing, moutain skiing at Heavenly,Sierra-at-Tahoe, plus Harrah’s and Harvey’s Casino’s with downtown night life are very easily accessible from this condo..
On summer enjoy a swimming heated pool and hot tub in a shadowed backyard with Pines Mountain Forest and night sky viewing.
Barbecue area setup for a medium size party, green lawn where children can play and bike: All these amenities facing swimming pool/hot tub.
Bedroom holds brand-new furniture with a Queen-size mattress bed, decorated in a Native American style. 6-drawer chest. TV with 14 movies channels/PPV. Napping mattress available for a child.
2-nd room functions as a second bedroom or as a family room. It has 1 double bed with new and comfy high mattress, 2 European sofa-beds, wall size sliding door to the large upper deck with tables-chairs set and a moutain view, mirrored dresser, clothes closet with multiple wide shelves, rich color lamp with adjusting light, portable air cooler-humidifier if rarely needed to comfort summer days.
TV/VCR/DVD/Cable with 14 movies channels/locals/PPV, movies-books library, coffe table. Walls decorated with tapestries, which are famous paintings reproductions***
- Fully equipped and stocked kitchen has gaz new strong stove, microwave, conventional rotisserie oven, dishwashing machine, cooking appliances, dishware, coffeemaker, silverware, Juice Maker, garlic presser, salt, pepper, herb/black tea, cute apron. Kitchen also has sliding window for a fresh air while cooking.
- Dining area also has sunny window and furnished with a new traditional wooden dark-cherry dining set for up to 5 people.
- Large wooden deck with a beautiful view has table and chairs and might be used for outside breakfast/dining on a warm day.
- Shelves and cloth hangers near the heater for the snow shoos, upper clothes, - they get dry and warm after snow day. Racks for skiing equipment, snowboards.
Transportation information for travelers without a car: Y area provides free shuttle stops to Heavenly, Sierra, Nevada Casino side, Reno, Sacramento. Regular Bus line takes you in 15 minutes from us to Y Area which is 2 miles from condo.
On summer Tahoe City provides Nifty Fifty Trolley which has stop in front of condominimum. BlueGo provides door-to-door rides by request. Ask this information if needed.
Ask info about whitewater rafting in Tahoe area on summer, mineral bathes year around, the most interesting hiking trails and the best restoraunts in area.
Area Information
Sensational Emerald Bay / Tahoe Keys secluded location bordered El-Dorado National Forest. World famous Heavenly Mountain Skiin Resort ( 5 miles away) and Richardson camp rental store for snow shoes, skiing, bikes, etc ( 2 miles). Cross-country around the fence, Sierra Mountain Resort with the most reasonable prices - 25 minutes drive.
Condominium frontiers the Richardson Camp's natural forest so you can do snowshoeing from your porch, cross-country to the Fallen Leaf lake or do sleighing with your kids.
Summer from Memorial day on May to the end of September:
Walk or bike to Pope Beach by wooden and groomed trail while enjoying beautiful forest scenery and shadow. Pope Beach considered one of the best for swimming because summer water reaches 74 degrees, offers long strolls along white sand shores and pines. AAA magazine as of August 2010 made note about surprising warm water on our beach.
4 minutes walk to Tahoe Keys fishing lagoon.
Fall:
Opportunity during late September - November Season in a beautiful golden yellow- dark purple Fall Season Forest with green Pine trees and mushroom hunt great opportunities. Heavenly Skiing season usually starts already on Thanksgiving Holidays, check link below.
Spring: Is very beautiful when you can take a tan in April, but Heavenly skiing is still opened and snow on top of mountains. 2010 Skiing season in Heavenly was till begining of May

Excellent Trip...!

First time to Tahoe along with our 4 kids. We have had a very hard time looking for a place that fit us all as well as providing the comfort living. All hotels/cabin booked for 07/28 - 07/30 weekend and the rest were over budget. Finally found this 2bed/1bath condo with Pool (my kids love the pool). Perfect zone in the middle of everything. Very close to Pope Beach. We received the Security Deposit like 2days after the trip. I really enjoy this place, location and you have everything that you need like a hotel. Best recommended and definitely will be our #1 choice when returning to Tahoe this Winter.

Great place for a small price

With area hotels going for much more this condo was a no brainer. The owner has placed a bed in the corner of the living room and has called it a 2 bedroom. I looked and looked for that 2nd bedroom. Still even as a 1 bedroom with room for 4 in the living room it was great. Plenty of hot water and a great heating system ( it was 20 degrees outside) The condo is next to Camp Richardson and the national park. a city bus runs right by! Why stay in a cramped motel room when you can have a full kitchen and lots of room.

It was very clean and cozy place. It is close to everything including safeway, key pick up place, south tahoe, and ski resort. I loved it and I would go that house next year again. This house can actually fit 6 people because they have sofa bed. Nice place, nice people, and awesome memory. It was just amazing!!

Lidiya was wonderful! She made us feel very welcome before and during our short stay. We were looking for a place close to the lake, and I was very fortunate to find her condo. Great vacation with kids

Four of us including 2 kids 6 and 15 years old stayed one week in South Tahoe for the first time of our 15 years life in California. I was surprised how beautiful was climate, wheather and nature around this area (near Tahoe keys). A lot of places to see and things to do. Condo is fully equipped, owner was very kind and cooperative. Will be returning back for sure!! Thanks,

Most enjoyable stay

We spent a most enjoyable 6 weeks in this apartment, away from the hustle and bustle of the Tahoe Centre and yet conveniently close to ski slopes and all amenities. A cosy and clean apartment in a lovely setting, providing everything necessary to make our stay a truly memorable one. The owners were charming and helpful and we would certainly consider returning here again.

We stayed in Lake Tahoe for a week last summer and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was ideal for us, nicely furnished, fully equipped and located in a lovely area with easy access to beach, shops, restaurants etc. Would love to return there before too long.

We are an Irish couple who rented this condo last summer. It is a fantastic property close to Pope Beach and Camp Richardson. The pool is clean and vurtually unused ! The place is fully furnished to an exceptional standard. The owners were great to deal with and our deposit was returned to us by the time we arrived back home. We will definitely be coming back.
