Description of the South Lake Tahoe vacation condo rental
Lake Tahoe is a year round world class destination and playground with activities for everyone. Over the past few years, Trip Advisor recognized Lake Tahoe as the No.1 vacation destination in the U.S. and No. 10 worldwide.
Also, Lake Tahoe was recently voted "America’s Best Lake in America" by the readers of USA TODAY! "North America's largest and most popular alpine lake, a place Mark Twain once called "the fairest picture the whole earth affords" is the champion in USA TODAY’s recent survey, which received more than 5,000 votes via FB and Twitter."
During the summer, there are many activities at the lake. Lake Tahoe is popular for many beach activities. For our guests, we provide complimentary beach passes to the Lakeside Beach, which is private. It is located about two (2) miles from the unit behind the main casinos in the downtown area. This beach is complete with boat, kayak and watercraft equipment rentals. There is a park area for recreational activities, sunbathing & swimming supervised by a lifeguard. There is also the Lakeside Beach Grill.
This condo is centrally located to all activities including summer, winter sports,biking, hiking, zip line, para-sailing, hot air balloon & helicopter rides, bowling, golfing, gaming, restaurants, museums, dancing, marina, water sports, cinemas, outdoor concerts & shopping minutes away. Go Blue bus service is also available.
Area Information
Ski Run Blvd. is popular to walkers, joggers, runners and bikers. This boulevard provides the distance and challenge for it's uphill and downhill terrain and distance. During the winter months, this area is used for parking and for Go Blue Shuttle services to skiers and snowboarders to and from Heavenly Valley Resort just minutes away.
This condominium property is centrally & conveniently located near many shops, restaurants, casinos and activities.

Five Star Condo

We stayed at this condo for three nights and it was a wonderful experience. Susana, the owner, was very receptive and prompt in all correspondence and the unit itself exceeded our expectations. There was many "extras" and niceties that made our stay exceptional. We will be checking back for this unit on any and all future trips to South Lake Tahoe. I highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

Nice home and great location

The house was pretty neat and nice. Located close to everything in south lake Tahoe. Best part is the owner susana. She is very kind and courteous. I got my deposit within 24 hours after my checkout. That's great. Only suggestion is that to have in house wifi connection.

Warm, Clean & very close to down town South Shore

My girlfriend and I went up to Tahoe for the Valentines Day weekend. We usually stay in hotels but thought we'd take a chance and booked this condo for our stay. What a great move on our part. Its location is perfect... just minutes away from downtown South Shore either driving or walking. You are able to park you car underneath the condo which is great for keeping the snow off of your vehicle. Cozy and warm is the feel of this condo. The owners have thought of everything. We woke up and made pancakes and coffee in the am... There was plenty of pans and a coffee maker ready to go for us. Also, they stock many condiments and dry food items that you might forget to bring which is very thoughtful. We bought some of our fresh food items at the local grocery store and were able to eat fresh and clean most mornings and evenings. The couch downstairs was very comfortable and there were hundreds of movies to watch for any possible down time (in case of a blizzard or your significant other taking too long to get ready, etc...) Flat screen TV's downstairs and upstairs and the bedrooms are very clean and presentable. California King beds made for a comfortable nights rest. The sheets were clean and we had the ability to do our laundry upstairs as well. The evening we arrived, the staff took the time to turn on the heat. We walked in to a warm and cozy accommodation which was very thoughtful of them. The owners are easy to talk to and deal with. We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to visit again when we come back to Lake Tahoe. AAA+ for service, cleanliness and items on hand that made our stay comfortable and stress free. Perfect for family stay

We would go back to this property anytime. Very comfortable for a family of 4 + 1 friend. FULLY equipped, everything was planned by the owner, very clean too. Susana is also very friendly and very helpful. My kids loved the clubhouse. The only thing is that there is uncertainty about WIFI availability. I was lucky to find an open WIFI connection 'Lynksys' that I was able to connect to during my stay.

Turkey Day in Tahoe

My cousin and I were looking for rooms in Tahoe for Thanksgiving and nothing jumped out as a good deal until the day before when I got a pop-up in my e-mail. It looked like exactly what we were looking for and cheaper. When we got to the condo it was still more than we had expected, it was in great condition and had everything we wanted(i.e kitchenette with dishes and rec room with jacuzzi) as well as the washer and dryer and dishwasher which were more than expected all in all I would love to use this condo again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a nice place in Tahoe

We just finished a two-night stay at the condo. The property is close to the Lake Tahoe and Hwy 50 and indeed very convenient. It is clean and quite and with all the necessary household things you would need. We are happy with the stay and would recommend it to others. Comfortable, convenient and friendly

We stayed four nights and had a great time. The unit has two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a full kitchen next to the dining area, and a spacious living room. We're two couples and there was lots of room - it was perfect for us. It's not super fancy - just a comfortable, homey place that was great for relaxing in after a day on the slopes. The unit is close to the California Lodge base area at Heavenly. The shuttle doesn't stop very close on the way to the hill, but you can usually charm the driver into dropping you at the end of the driveway at the end of the day. We just drove to the base area - it's 3 minutes away and there's plenty of free parking. The owner Susana was a pleasure to deal with - very accommodating and helpful. We were very, very happy with our stay and hope to return.

We stayed in this condo during the busiest time of the year in S Lake Tahoe (the last week in Dec). It was perfect! The temp outside was in the teens but the condo was always cozy warm. The Heavenly Village area was fun to visit, but it was great to go "home" to a much quieter place a short drive away from the crowds after skiing, riding the gondola, shopping, dining, and sight-seeing. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need in a "home away from home". The clubhouse was great, too, with a pool table, ping-pong, fireplace, work-out equipment, and jacuzzi. I like to visit Tahoe in the summer and bring my bike & kayak and this condo would also be perfectly located for easy access to warm weather activities. Also, Susana (owner) was FABULOUS to deal with--very sweet and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at this condo, esp since it is also so reasonably priced. Thank you! We'll be back!

Just finished a 4 day 3 night stay at this wonderful condo. Fully furnished, comfortable, and homely. Definitely recommended for a great vacation in Tahoe. We visited in July for a 2 week holiday from Ireland and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. We had a 10 month old baby in tow so the quiet but central location was very handy. The condo is very well stocked in terms of home from home requirements; we didn't need for anything to enjoy our stay. The location is also handy for running training at altitude and hills!! Would definitely recommend to others. Good value for money overall, easy to find and owners are very pleasant to deal with.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The location is very quiet and yet very convenience. The condo is clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We really felt like home. Also, we enjoyed the facility at the club house - the ping pong table, pool table, hot tub and swimming pool. The managers are very helpful and friendly.

"Spent 1 week in Tahoe over Memorial Day & searched for the perfect place & I found it! This condo is nestled in the forest against Heavenly. Plenty of privacy, close to everything, easy to find. There were 3 of us (my sister & best friend) taking a long needed break & we couldn't have found a better place. As soon as we walked in we knew we were home. Cozy, warm, inviting, clean, plenty of room with everything already there. 2 bedrooms upstairs both with TV & DVD player (you can send the kids up there & they'd be perfectly happy) a full bath & laundry room. Main floor has gas fireplace (kept the entire place warm the couple of nights we needed it), great family area, half bath, kitchen. Btw, Susana has the kitchen stocked with just about anything you might need (spices, condiments, etc) & in the "family living area" 2 comfy couches, TV, DVD player & ready, VHS player! Who has that for you? There are some great movies that she has for her guests to enjoy. Cable TV & Wifi also. You are home! Oh yes, great deck with BBQ ready. This was a very special find for us. It was perfect in every way. Parking, open garage with entrance right there. Perfect for cold days & nights in winter, you & the car are protected from the snow & cold. Almost forgot Clubs House with pool. There was nothing lacking. We had everything we could possibly need. Susana was so attentive with every concern of mine prior to going to Tahoe. Restaurant suggestions, things to do, you name it & she was there. Would I recommend this to families as well as going up & leaving the kids behind, you bet! It is perfect for romance or just getting away, absolutely!. For the winter, this is a perfect location for Heavenly, you are just minutes from the lifts! Will we go again, Yes, we are returning after Labor Day! We found our home away from home!!"

"We had a wonderful trip and thoroughly enjoyed staying in your condo. We ran a little late on Friday driving from Sacramento because of the snow but still arrived by around 5 or 5:30. The shower was on Saturday and was a lot of fun - seeing my son and daughter-in-law were the best parts of course! Looking out the balcony yesterday morning, we saw a bear across the trees lumbering near the garbage bin there. So that was fun too.
Your unit is very nice and extremely comfortable. My one sister, who travels quite a lot, stated that she has never been in such a cozy rental with so many extra niceties and the accommodations were even nicer than we expected. I would definitely give you and your unit a 5 star rating.
I do have you in my "keep" file and hope to be able to stay with you again.
