Description of the South Lake Tahoe vacation condo rental

Rental Permit #: VHR004273

Cozy studio/1 bedroom condo with mountain-theme interior. Unit has: complete pantry kitchen, full bathroom, televisions in living room and bedroom, cable TV, and WiFi wireless internet access. The unit is bottom floor, non-smoking, and dog friendly.

Condo unit provides heated pool & hot tub access from May-October (closed during the Winter). Coin operated laundry machines are available in the building (24 hrs). Unit is naturally gas heated with energy efficient appliances.

Condo additionally provides an electric fireplace and rustic dimmer wall lights for a cozy cabin ambiance. Unit also provides a bike rack that accommodates up to 4 bikes (locks and cables not provided).

Cleaning service uses eco-friendly products.

Tucked away, off HWY 89 in a quiet neighborhood with friendly residents.

Located approximately one mile from the Pope Beach and Camp Richardson with paved bike path access across the street.

Blue Go bus stop provides transportation to the South Lake areas including Heavenly Ski Area & Stateline Casinos.

Juuust right!

In a frenzied attempt at a last minute getaway, fortunately, there was VRBO and WONDERFUL Jeff and this beautiful hideaway in South Lake Tahoe. Jeff was so great over the phone prior to our leaving with loads of information about the condo, logistics and recommendations. I felt like I was talking to a friend! As for the condo itself - its perfect for two or a small family. The kitchen is fully stocked (slightly "cozy" but ok as long as one person just stays the heck out!), the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom and shower just right... Since we visited slightly off season, it was still cold so I loved that there was a space heater and loads of blankets ready to to go in the closet. My honey remarked - "man, it really feels like home here"...and not in a way where you feel like you are staying in someone else's home...but that it's truly yours. It's a perfect middle ground for access to hikes around south tahoe (incl cascade falls, emerald bay, vikingsholm etc) and just a blink from fallen leaf lake and the mt tallac trailhead. Jeff provides hiking guides in the condo as well...which was great when a lot of our best laid plans were waylaid by the unpredictable weather. We made it work. Even more awesome? Jeff offers discounts for repeat customers. That means, we're coming again in July! Yay. Thanks so much for the stay, we look forward to coming back!
