Description of the South Padre Island vacation condo rental
Condos at Terra Mar Unit C is a 1103 square foot condominium unit and is equipped with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths . There is parking for two vehicles. We have front and back patios and each unit has a barbeque grill. We are just steps from the Gulf of Mexico and are home to Texas' most beautiful beach. We can sleep four persons very comfortably.

THIS NEWLY DECORATED UPSTAIRS UNIT HAS TWO GREAT PORCHES (N & S) THE LAMINATE FLOORING GIVES IT A VERY INVITING FEEL ...WE ARE THE MOST REASONABLY PRICED 2BDRM/2BATH UNIT ON THE ISLAND FOR THE WINTER

WE ARE LOOKING ACTIVELY FOR LONG TERM RENTERS FROM DEC 1-APR 1, 2014.
Area Information
Terra Mar is located on Aries street approximately 160 yards from the Gulf of Mexico and the street is lined with Villas, condos and private homes. We are less than a mile from the entertainment district and just a couple of blocks from the Post Office. The bay (commonly called the Laguna Madre) is also less than 160 yards from Terra Mar.

Deposits: A credit card number will secure the reservation and will not be charged in advance. If the minimum stay involves a No Show a $200 charge will be made. On visits of 5 or more nights, a No Show will be charged $400. If damages and losses are not present after departure, the card info will be trashed. SPRING BREAKERS NEED NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS, WE BOOK WINTER TEXANS THROUGH THE MONTH OF MARCH.
Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order
Other Fees: Terra Mar at South Padre must charge occupancy taxes on all visits under 30 days at a rate of 14.5% and we access a $75 cleaning fee on all stays. If excessive damages occur that required repairs beyond normal, those additional fees will be charged to the credit card number held as a deposit.

Vacay

The condo is very nice. We had a great time. Location is perfect. Condo is very well kept and clean. Bring toilet paper, garbage bags and hand soap for the 2 bathrooms. That was not provided with 2 kids we had to make run to the store to buy those necessities. Terry is very easy to work with. We wouldn't mind coming back.

While we do not provide toilet paper, we do have a half roll or more in each bathroom, as well as at least two towels are supplied per bathroom as well as wash cloths. Our trash can has at least one tall kitchen bag (unused) and generally more are found underneath the one in the trash can. I don't know of any SPI condo that provides bar soap?? There is a convenience store just across the street from the Condo.

Terra Mar Unit C

This is the first time we went to South Padre and did not know what to expect. The owner Terry was very easy to communicate and deal with. The condo was comfortable, clean, spacious and a short stroll to the beach. Our stay was great, we can't wait to return and will be recommending this condo to our friends!

Livin` on the Island

We started off in one unit, and lived there for 2 months; which had several disapoinments, but have since moved into another unit at the same place which is much nicer. If we have an issue Terry is usually right on top of taking care of the issue. Down fall to living on the island for an extended period of time is the electric is expensive. So it is best to find an offer that includes utilities This experience has made me consider buying a condo on the island

Awesome place to stay!

Terra Mar was not only an economical place to stay, but was very roomy and had everything we needed. Loved the location, within a block to the beach. We definitely will be staying here again, and highly recommend to our friends as the "Place to Stay" in SPI!

Space,Space,Space

My wife and I enjoyed this condo and would return with out question. the condo was nice spacious and clean,the two bedrooms had plenty of space with big closets and each with full bathrooms. the kitchen with loads of cabinet (new cabinets)and counter space The two patios in front and back were a plus.We enjoyed all the room. The unit, a four plex is a block from the beach and a short walk to some entertaining spots. all the condo/homes on the block were well kept and The Neighbors (most regular renters) were also a big plus to this unit. The unit had a nice flat screen TV, however like most condos on the island, was lacking some needed kitchen utensils and could use some updating on the some furniture. Overall this is a good choice. We would return again.

Spacious

The condo was very spacious. The pictures on the website doesn't do it justice. The only complaint I have was that the beds were not comfortable at all. I suggest that the beds be replaced. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

Q: What are the most fun things to do at your vacation rental?
A: Beach combing and girl watching as well as body boarding and swimming are just steps away...
and the complex is very quiet generally and is a great place to just chill out and maybe barbeque on our front or rear deck.
Q: Do you have a pool at your rental unit??
A: We do not have a pool we find that people come here for the beaches and Schlitterbahn Water Parkthe noise usually associated with the people and the additional liability makes a pool not desired by owners here.
Q: Can I pay by personal check?
A: We will accept a personal check for the total due for your stay but it must arrive at least one week before your visit!
A credit card number must also be left on file when the reservation is made and no shows will be charged as indicated in our policy.
