Description of the South Padre Island vacation condo rental

3 DAY MINIMUM ~ PRICES MAY VARY BY SEASON NEW POOL!!! NEW LARGE JACUZZI HOLDS 12 PEOPLE!!!! ! Our condo has been completely remodeled in 2011 with new roofs, walls, granite countertop, cam lighting, bathrooms, new paint.
This is a three bedroom, 3 bath condo, which sleeps ten. It is fully furnished and is a duplex.
Downstairs will sleep eight, upstairs will sleep two. The two levels have oceanfront terraces directly facing the ocean.
There is a full living room and kitchen, and there are three TV's in the condo.
There are lush grounds with canals and lagoons.
There is a many restaurant serving delicious meals at affordable prices in walking distance of the Bahia Mar.
There are three lighted tennis courts, two pools and one kiddie pool.
The will cater to your every need!

Area Information

The Bahia Mar Hotel is on the beach and is in a tropical setting with lush palmtrees and lagoons.
South Padre Island is a nature paradise. There is a Laguna Madre Nature Trail which has a 1500 foot birding boardwalk.
You can see egrets, herons, terns, yellow bill loon, and the brown booby.
There is also the S. Padre Island Birding and Nature Center.
There is also the S. Padre Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary.
There is world class fishing with many charter boats specializing in sea trout, souther flounder, red snapper, tarpon, etc.
The Ladies Kingfish Tournament has been an island tradition for many years.
Every Friday there is fireworks on the beach.
For golf lovers, there is the S. Padre Island Golf Club which offers an 18 hole championship golf course.
The 72 park course is home of the Texas Senior Open.
There is the university of Texas Pan American coastal laboratory which exhibits marine life.
Beach activities includes Kite Boarding, Wind Surfing, Boogle Boards, Para Sailing, Great for kite flying and surfing etc.
There are many delicious and affordable restaurants in walking distance of the Bahia Mar.
Blackbeard Restaurant is a local favorite.
A unique feature is horseback riding on the beach. Ask the locals about this.

This was a great place to stay. The condo was roomy and tastefully decorated. We had a great vacation right on the beach. We would stay there again.

We found the condo to be perfect for our family. It was well kept and quite spacious. The beach was a few steps away and we could watch our teens and 9 year old play from our balcony! My deopsit was refunded promptly. I highly reccomend this property. Joyce Willett Morris
