Myself and five kiteboarder friends stayed at Casa Campeche for 10 days in late October. The house was very spacious and it made a perfect "headquarters" from which to embark on our daily kiteboard adventures; one day we would surf the Gulf side (from the South end Pearl Hotel to Beach access 5 at the North end of town), the next day we would go the the Lagoon flats near the Convention Centre. Ha ha, all of this using the FREE shuttle service.
Innez and Carlos were kind enough to drop by and take us out for drinks on a Sunset Patio Bar to watch some live music (at Laguna Bob's).
Very tidy, comfortable beds, great pool area, outdoor BBQ, central location, great beach amenities (lawn chairs, coolers, umbrella).

We hope to return NEXT YEAR!!!

Excellent - the house was just perfect.
We had a fabulous time, the location was great with many bars and restaurants within walking distance. And the the beach just a 5 minute walk away.
The outdoor kitchen was a real bonus and we certainly put it to good us.
Everything in the house was to a good standard and was very well maintained. The pool Is most definitely the best thing about the property, we spent countless hours in it enjoying the sunshine and moonlight.
The customer service was second to none, when we had a problem it was sorted out very quickly and nothing was too much trouble.
We would highly recommend this house to anyone coming to the island.
Favourite bar for us was Tom & Jerrys very friendly great atmosphere and food good too. Also the brew bar across the road is good with free pool tables.
Pier 19 is a good place to eat with the views of the bay. Best lunch was Yummies and best dinner was the Brewing company.
As far as activities go there is Parrot eyes where you can rent Kayaks and jet skis. We spent many hours fishing on the rocks at the south of the island catching mostly whiting which tastes pretty good.
The added bonus was the free bus service called the wave just jump on and off and goes all the way to Port Isabel.

The house is exactly what they advertised. The rooms were clean and the A.C. was great. I loved the pool my kids had fun in it after we came back from the beach which was walking distance from the house( about 2 1/2 blocks from the house). The cable worked in the master bedroom but not in the living room which was not a problem for us since we were out most of the day. The palapa and grill were great for cooking out at night. No problems at all. I highly recommend this house.

Casa Campeche was great! We took our sons, three teenagers and an eleven year old, to South Padre. The pool was their favorite feature. The adults enjoyed the patio table and umbrella and we used the outdoor grill several times. The house was very well kept and nicely decorated and furnished. We will definitely be coming back to Casa Campeche! We did have one issue while we there. The cable did not work. A gentleman came by on Sunday afternoon and advised that a repairman would come by and fix the problem but we never saw him. The boys and my husband weren't able to watch any television at all. The boys brought DVD movies so we made do with those. Other than that, we have an amazing trip!
