Mediterranean Villa with Beach Views

My family and I spent four wonderful days in South Padre Island. All of us loved the vacation home rental, The Mediterranean Villa. Everyone was over joyed with the proximity to the beach, the size of the pool, the excellent floor plan of the house, and the proximity to the various activities on the island. My family is interested in doing it again next year and beyond. We were quite happy with the furnishings, utensils available, towels, pillows and linens. Our only complaint is the washer and dryer were insufficiently reliable to dry all of the linens and towels required to be washed and cleaned before check out time.

Just want to let everyone know that my family and I have stayed in this home for 5 summers now and we will not stay anywhere else but Victoria's Villa. We have stayed with another family and we have had a blast...

This place had so much potential. We arrived to smell of mold and mildew. One of the beds was covered with mold. Fridge was not working and the inside was covered with mold. When contacted the maintenance people could not speak english. One bedroom had no lights working in it the entire stay. There was mold showing on some of the ceilings. Carpet was in very poor shape. You could tell that it hurricane damage that was just patched up. My brother ended up spending his vacation on the couch. Owner got frige fixed. Had to spend the first two day cloroxing the house so we could stay. Pool was great and so was the location. Sent a letter to owner afterwards to complain, but no response was to be had. Will never go back. No excuse for what you have to pay. Old pictures on web site that does not show condos going up infront of it.

This getaway was just what the doctor ordered. The house was clean and had everything and then some. Close proximity to the beach and a private pool were perfect for our three kids. We will definately visit again.

My husband and I had a pleasant experience at the villa and with the renter. The renter was very helpful by providing information on the best restaurants, grocery stores, beach access, etc. I wil be going back again!

Victoria, My wife and I and our 3 year old daughter recently finished a week stay at your beach house. We stayed there with another family. Not only was your beach house comfortable, it was spacious and afforded us privacy. I appreciated it all. The location is outstanding! My daughter enjoyed herself very much. Not only did she enjoy her stay, my wife and the other family in attendance did also. We used the pool and went to the beach every day. We loved it. Thank you. John Dungo

This was a horrible and disgusting experience. The photos look good but beware. We arrived and found vomit on one of the mattresses, rodent droppings everywhere (in fact they were running around at night). There were few dishes or cooking utensils. The rugs were filthy. Our feet turned black if we walked with our shoes off. 2 of the bathrooms stunk so bad we had to clean them ourselves when we arrived. We called the owner the next day and told her we were leaving. She DID refund our money but included a NASTY note along with the refund. This place is priced as a premium property but I think should be priced on the lowest end. I've seen homeless people with better accomodations.
