"The North"
A wonderful large multi-level home on the ocean's edge with panoramic views. This house is terrific for multi-generational vacations: two master suites, one on the main floor, and a completely separate two-bedroom suite with it's own living area on the third floor. Large living, dining, sitting areas, porches and decks allow for group activities and quiet conversations.

Each master suite is large with a king-sized bed and private bathroom with shower. We call the additional two-bedroom suite "the loft". There you'll find a third bedroom with a king bed, a fourth smaller bedroom with two twin beds, another bathroom with a shower and a nice sized living room.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen and full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience.

Drink your morning coffee watching the sunrise on the oceanfront deck. Spend your days exploring sea life among the rocks, watching the seals and seabirds, walking in the woods, or watching the lobster boats out front. Bring your kayak to launch from our small pebble beach right in front.

The clear night sky is filled with stars close enough to touch. Fall asleep listening to the water lap at the shore. Antiquing, fine dining, museums, fairs and festivals, hiking and golf are just a sample of many ways to spend the day - if you can tear yourself away!

Spruce Head is a small lobster-fishing village on Penobscot Bay in midcoast Maine. The nearest large town is Rockland, about ten minutes away. There is a small airport in Owls Head with commercial flights to Boston and facilities for private aircraft. Nearby Thomaston, Rockport and Camden are beautiful towns with small shops and galleries. Lighthouses, museums, restaurants, art galleries, numerous summer festivals, hiking, fishing, shopping, day cruises and more are all available within a half-hour drive. And of course, there is lobster to eat everywhere. Or, even better, buy it fresh and bring it back to enjoy on your own deck, taking in the view.
