'Perfect House for summer and winter vacations!
We spent one week at the end of August and one week in December in this beautiful house with the unbeatable location on the Nantucket Sound Sea View Beach. We love this House! It MORE than met our expectations. In reality the house is better than in the listing... Beds, beddings, linen, bath/beach towels- new and very good quality. The kitchen is brand new, very well equipped, granite counter top, microwave with conventional stove - pleasure to cook! The house is VERY comfortable, spotlessly clean and location is just fantastic – less than one minute, and you are on the beach! The house is also close to very good restaurants end entertainment. We can highly recommend Skipper (just 5 min walk of the house), the Yarmouth House, Captain Parker's pub.
If you like to run swimming after waking up (even before breakfast) in the blue, warm water, stroll along the shore, collect beautiful shells and enjoy morning sun - this house is for you! You don't need a car, you don't need to carry umbrellas, beach chairs (which are provided by owner) etc. to the beach if you don't plan to spend there several hours. You can be back to YOUR house any minute...
The house is conveniently located, very good start point for the daily trips. We went to Nantucket, Provincetown, the Cape Cod National Seashore, Whale-watching cruise, Pirate's Cove mini-golf, Zooquarium...
Our stay in December was also very enjoyable. We went to the beach - sunny days, mild weather, birds, schells, beatiful sunsets... Our favorite restaurants were open and offered delicious meals. The fireplace, games, books, talks, cooking, shopping, antiquing (famous glass)- we were busy every day! But we found the time to listen the MET opera at the historical Cape Cinema known for the largest in the U.S. and one of only five murals Kent did in his lifetime. Also, we didn't miss the magical journey on the Polar Express!
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this BEACH House to anyone - you will have a fantastic time!'
In the mid-19th century Cape Cod became a popular summer vacation destination for wealthy families living in Boston and Providence. Today Cape Cod is the premier vacation resort in New England.
Cape Cod is the place for wide, sandy beaches with beautiful dunes, lighthouses, sea captains’ homes, fishing villages, seafood (particularly oysters, clams, and lobsters), cranberries, and numerous recreational opportunities.
Cape Cod offers many beautiful sandy beaches for you to enjoy. Beaches on the Cape Cod Bay north side may have cooler water temperatures than the warmer waters of the south facing beaches of Nantucket Sound.
Cape Cod tests all public bathing beach waters. Monitoring results from previous seasons indicate exceptional water quality on Cape Cod, and the Cape Cod National Seashore beaches are part of the Blue Wave Campaign for quality.
Water sports are very popular on the Cape. Canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, swimming - find the best way to make your perfect day! Perhaps, you will take a whale watching excursion, enjoy a few hours of beach combing, and go fishing by your own or on a chartered cruise.
Cape Cod is a unique place for nature lovers, bird-watchers, hikers and whale watchers, sailors and surf casters. In 1961 a significant portion of the east-facing Atlantic coast of Cape Cod was made part of the Cape Cod National Seashore by President John F. Kennedy. Large portions are open to the public.
Although the Cape experiences a tourist explosion each summer, Cape Cod is virtually a year-round resort. No matter the season, Cape Cod beaches can always be walked, the bike trails enjoyed, and golf courses played.
The geography of Cape Cod resembles a flexed arm that thrusts out into the Atlantic Ocean. It owes its origin to glaciers that were active in the area. Over time, these glacier deposits became reshaped by waves and nearby ocean currents. Cape Cod is divided into a number of different sections. Each section or town on the Cape has something unique about it – natural beauty, the arts, history and recreational pursuits. The Cape is about 70 miles long and is often subdivided into six main regions: Upper-Cape, Mid-Cape, Lower-Cape, Outer-Cape and the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
Our Houses are located in the Mid-Cape with the south facing beaches of Nantucket Sound - the WARMEST waters on Cape Cod!

Ocean View Gem
May 23, 2014
This house was absolutely wonderful. I stayed here with a bunch of my friends and there was more than enough room for everybody, even though we were at the full capacity the house allowed, it never once felt too crowded. I have 3 personal favorites about the house. The first is the ocean view and distance from the beach. Because we stayed i may, the weather was hit or miss. Thankfully, some of us could head to the beach before others and if people wanted to leave they just walked right across the street and were back at the house for lunch. I always appreciate when you can bring as little as possible to the ocean, it's much more relaxing. My second favorite thing was the lighting in the house. There are so many windows, I think we barely turned on any lights because there was so much natural sunlight coming in. Between this and sitting on the patio, I still felt like we were able to enjoy the nice weather both inside and outside. Lastly, the setup of the house was very nice, and there were ample outlets for everybody to use. With a group of girls, these kinds of things become a necessity, and it was great how I could find one pretty much anywhere I needed one Overall I have nothing bad to say, everything about the house is pristine and the owners left great instructions on how everything worked and important info regarding garbage, laundry, etc. I would definitely love to stay there again given the opportunity. We walked to the skipper for dinner and Main Street Hyannis was close by as well! It truly is a perfect choice for any type of family

OUR SECOND GLORIOUS TIME HERE

This is the second time we have rented this amazing house and we plan to come back in 2014. It is the only thing that makes the close of our week here bearable. I had two couples in one night and we all had adequate privacy. We watched the World Series Sox game by the fire one night and then enjoyed beautiful sea breezes the next day: nice weather even on Nov. 1 to walk the beach just across the street! We also had day time visitors. People love to visit here. Yarmouth is central to fantastic day trip destinations. There are too many good restaurants in the area to mention, but we love the kitchen here so we didn't mind cooking in. We had lobster from a local market last night. If you are even thinking about renting this home, go for it!
