Description of the Southampton vacation cottage rental

Water views through full glass wall of the master bedroom and deck of this smartly restored 1929 cottage on unique road that people walk, jog, & bicycle to its end: an exquisite, near-private, sugarsand beach.

Enjoy watching ducks & swans through the picture window of the updated, eat-in kitchen with porcelain farmhouse sink. Relax on tree slung double hammock, grill on the gourmet barbecue, and relax on the waterside Vermont slate patio that seats 10 under a canopy of mature oak and cypress trees.

In main cottage, two queen beds and one queen sleep sofa. In bonus boathouse, relax on the sofa or full-size bed ... french doors open directly to North Sea Harbor. French lace hydrangeas, peonies, beach grass, herb pots, a fig tree, and more. Lovely views from all rooms.

Wireless. Cable flat screen TV. Minutes to Main Street of historic Southampton & ocean beaches.

Weekend & Weekday rentals until Memorial Day.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day: minimum one-month rentals, with discount for additional months & for full season. September also available.

Area Information

Towd Point is the Hampton's best kept secret. Gorgeous road with charming "cocktail" bridge and sailing/windsurfing area. Osprey nests, tidal flats, and a nature preserve make this beach especially lovely. Perfect for swimmers, beach loungers and dog walkers! Two hours from Manhattan, Towd Point is one turn after historic Conscience Point with its marina. From Towd Point beach, several excellent waterfront restaurants down the road as well as extraordinary organic farm with freshly laid eggs, fantastic fruits, vegetables and breads.

Hamptons off-season

A wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay. I'm so glad to have tried out the Southhampton in the off-season. I enjoyed the waterfront. What a great treat to go outside your backdoor and glide-off in a kyack on the calm waters of Peconic bay. The beds are so comfortable and your decor so beachy and fun! I loved the cinnamon bread at Kings Farm down the road - delicious! It's great being just a few minutes from the charming town of Sag Harbor, too.

We had a wonderful time in your beach cottage! It is a charming place to stay and the beach down the road is superb.
We had a good nightâ��s rest each evening which we needed with so much to see.
We collected treasured shells at your beach. We fed birds right out of our hand at the Nature Center down the road. We also saw a whale at the main beach this week.
Needless to say that all of us had a special week and return home with some terrific memories!!!
