Description of the Spicewood vacation cabin rental

Peaceful cabin out in the country with a secluded hot tub in Spicewood, TX. This property sits up on a bluff overlooking the Pedernales River. Althought the river is not running right now, there is a creek and lovely vews. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two doubles. There is one full bath and a second half bath. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room for the winter months. There is also an outdoor heated shower. On the basement level there is a room with a double bed, however there is no bathroom on that level. Our home and decks have panoramic views of the hills and occasionally the Pedernales River. Located near the Barton Creek Lakeside Country Club and Krause Springs, a year round natural springs swimming hole.

Area Information

We are only 30 minutes from Austin. Pick up some wine, something to grill and kick back on our wraparound deck and watch the sun set. Enjoy our very private hot tub. Or hike down to the river below and do some fishing. Visit nearby Stone House Winery or the unique all natural Krause Springs for a very cold dip in the water. Or if you are really adventurous try the zip line at Cypress Canopy. Great barbeque at Opies right down the street if you dont want to cook! Check out the stars at night and just experience the quiet country vibe. Only 15 minutes to Lakeway and all of its restaurants, shopping and theatre. Or head the other way to Marble Falls, Johnson City or Fredericksburg for a day trip.

.This remodeled home sets on the edge of a bluff overlooking a mostly dry Perdenales River due to the drought. But what it is lacking in river view it makes up with trees draping over the deck filled with birds and quiet serenity. We spent most of our time outside on the deck and enjoying the hot tub under the stars. The home had plenty of amenities and was comfortable for 3 girls friends wanting a girl's weekend. This home is nestled between Spicewood and Lakeway area offering several wineries nearby and restaurants.
