Beautiful House overlooking Spofford Lake

This dream vacation house is literally on the water where everyone wants to be! It is by far the best that Lake Spofford could offer! Cooking for the family is a breeze in the full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and a view of the lake at all times. You can even watch TV or enjoy a conversation with your family or friends. The dining room is spacious with seating for 8 and plenty of windows. The living room features plenty of comfortable seating for the whole family. You can watch TV, read a book or enjoy a conversation with your family or friends. There is a full deck with screened in porch overlooking the lake and the LP barbeque is always ready to prepare a delicious meal. The downstairs bedroom is perfect for people who aren't stair friendly and is steps away from a full bathroom, both handicap friendly. Upstairs there is a kids room with 2 single beds, a master bedroom with a queen bed and an older kids room with 2 double beds featuring a deck overlooking the whole lake. The unit offers DirectTV with plenty of sports ad movie channels, telephone, high speed internet services and a 100 foot dock to tie up your boat. Couple this with 100+ feet of sandy beach, shallow waters so the little ones can have lots of fun, great fishing right off the dock, with sunsets to remember and you won't want to leave and you will be counting the months until you can come back!
If you come in the fall, bring your camera because you will want to take lots of pictures. The colors are stupendous. Sunsets on the water illuminate the whole lake at times you will think there's a giant light shining on the water.
If skiing is what you like, then you can find at least six well-known ski areas from 13 to 45 miles away; try them all and then come back to a warm, quiet, relaxing place for a nice dinner, stupendous winter views and a good night's sleep!

Spofford Lake is the premier body of water in southern New Hampshire. Lots of activities right on the water, and never really crowded. Clean, enjoyable family fun for all ages. Kids of all ages find so much to do that they forget about all those games they brought with them. The city of Keene is about ten miles away. Lots of shopping, dining, mountain climbing, fairs and entertainment for everyone. And best of all, you can do lots of shopping and save. NH does not have a sales tax on purchases of goods. Bring your golf clubs because the course is about a mile away, not crowded so you don't have to get up at four in the morning to enjoy nine holes before breakfast and you can do it every day, it's not expensive! But it's well maintained. Then pick up the rest of the family and head over to Stuart and Johns for a great breakfast: the best pancakes I have ever had and the syrup is made right there! If you come at the right time you can watch them make it. Then you can buy a jug and take it home. It is that good! If it's apple picking time, plenty of apple farms around to enjoy a day on the farm and the apples are really tasty! What about Pumpkin Fest? Have you ever seen a one thousand pound pumpkin before? People come from all over, it's a blast! Great food, lots of fun! And probably the busiest time of the year is in the winter. Lots of skiers, lots of white snow, ski areas all around.
