Great place

Our stay was wonderful. The old house is so comfortable, clean, and well equipped. We found everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The cabinet, closet, and storage space in this house is unbelievable. The weather was great also - cool enough for a fire in the fireplace but pleasant enough to sit in the sun outdoors. There were 10 of us and we absolutely loved the big dining room and table. There was room for all of us around the big table with room to spare. I guess the only thing that would have made our stay better was for there to have been a queen bed instead of the full bed in one of the downstairs bedrooms. The deer were everywhere and bluebonnets were scarce but we did see some. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

Spring Break 2013

We were looking for a house that would accommodate 9 people that was in a central hill country location. We found it at this house in Spring Branch. The kids had room to run and play and the adults were able to enjoy the spring weather in the Texas Hill Country. Centrally located close to Fredericksburg, Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, San Antonio, and Austin made for an a great Spring Break vacation filled with things to do. We will definitely rent here again and promote this place to our family and friends. Thank you for a perfect vacation.

Incredible!

What a great house nestled in the hill country. We used the house to surprise my wife on her 40th birthday. Family flew in from out of state and the house allowed all of us to be together for the weekend. It has charming old character and a great landscape. Plenty of room for everyone and the kids were able to roam and explore. TV never even came on! The longhorns on the property next door came right up to the fence for a great photo shoot as if scripted. The owner was very accomodating and the house provided everything needed for the weekend. We loved the home and will look for opportunities to rent it out again!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FACILITES

I had my birthday weekend here in this house wherein the Cowgirl Sisterhood (which includes women from all over Texas) gathered and had the most amazing weekend of friendship and sisterhood. The house was beautiful and included lots of character. The Hill Country is just amazing with great views. We were most happy with our accomodations. Thank you and we expect to have our group gather here yearly!

Spring Branch, Texas Rebecc Creek Ranch

Our Family of 8 and 2 friends stayed at the old mansion at Rebecca Creek Ranch rather than to choose hotels or motels. We were there for a family wedding and a good time. The guest house was perfect for our friends and although the restroom remodel was not complete at that time, there were plenty of restrooms inside the house for our needs and schedules. It was our first trip to Texas and we wanted to all be together In a home as well as be able to experience the country setting. This property and home exceeded our expectations. We had privacy, beautiful scenery, and more than enough room to stay very comfortably with all the amenities. The views from atop the property were beautiful (even in the drought of that time). The yard was so spacious and the deer that visited were very entertaining. The nearby HEB store was perfect for our needs and we even found feed for the deer. We were delighted to find quality eating establishments nearby. We used the wonderful kitchen as well, for some meals. In the evenings our grandchildren were able to be within 15 feet of the deer as they ate at the feeder in the backyard. We literally sat at on the back porch and watched the deer eat and play. Deer were also seen by the Rebecca Creek and along the roads, a bonus for our young grandchildren. The home itself was so historic and spacious. I regret the bride did not get pictures on the property and especially on the awesome balcony. We found ourselves wishing we had much more time to stay and enjoy. The BBQ is also a bonus and the home was great for a family entertainment , fun and games, and the get together. Our daughter (the bride) lives nearby and we are very hopeful to stay at the Rebecca Creek Ranch on our next visit . We really don't have a desire to stay anywhere else. Thanks to the owner for the great ease of the details and the "Directions" and "Things to Know". We had phone numbers provided in the event we needed anything.......we did not need to call for anything. Thank you, we had a great time and would do it again. Good outdoor environment for kids to enjoy

Our family stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our 2011 christmas get together. The weather was perfect Texas hill country weather, cool with clear skys. Our grandchildren enjoyed the spacious outdoors, a basketball goal and plenty of room to play and roam. The less traveled roadway was good for quiet walks. We watched 20 - 40 deer graze in an open field approximately 200 yards away and across the road from the property during the evenings. We placed corn in the corn feeder and witnessed deer in the mornings ~ 50' from the back door. We had time to site in a new cross bow, though no deer hunting. The house is an older home, ~ 1930's vintage, which makes it somewhat unique. The window heating units kept the chill out of the rooms that had these units. Night time temperatures were 30 F. The house den was chilled in the mornings but a fire in the fireplace and an electric space heater warmed the room. The house has beds for 8. A blow up mattress was used but lost air each night. The kids managed. The kitchen is large and roomy. The beds were very comfortable. The house wasn't white glove clean but again it's an older home. The property is for enjoying the outdoors.

Quiet and lovely stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rebecca Creek Ranch. It was very quiet here and the kids we were with loved playing basketball, looking for lizards and exploring the different areas of the property. The property was spacious and the decor was lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were comfortable. We were quite happy staying at the Ranch but also really loved that we were so close to San Antonio and Austin. This property is secluded and peaceful but also close to several tourist areas. In that respect, it had something for everyone! The owners were also very responsive and it is obvious that they put alot of time and love into the property!

Charming, spacious and comfortable Home

I stayed here with my immediate family and some extended family for a reunion that was taking place in North San Antonio (about 30 mins away). There was plenty of space for all of us (10 people) and we had a great time hanging out, playing basketball, relaxing in the hammock, cooking in the lovely kitchen. It is very comfortable and well-equipped, has a lot of character and the views are absolutely fantastic. We had a lot of fun and were completely charmed by the faded elegance of Rebecca Creek Ranch; the house is old, and we happen to love that, (if you don't like that then this might not be the place for you). We hope to return some day.

Elagant, Historical Country Home

We very much enjoyed our visit to this elegant, historic hill country beauty with its large , beautifully decorated, rooms. We particularly enjoyed watching the deer and the beautiful sunsets from the large front porch overlooking the surrounding countryside.

Quiet Hillcountry Retreat

I attended a birthday party at the property and it was a wonderful experience. There is plenty of room to accomodate a group, and yet it feels like a family home. The grounds are beautiful and the home is tastefully decorated. I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect Location

What a lovely property for a relaxing short or long stay. Located on top of a hill in the heart of the Texas Hill Country we had amazing sunsets and cool breezes. The home is great for families or groups who want to get away from the hustle of the city. We have stayed many times and have many good memories. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and Cozy Getaway

I stayed there a couple of years back to work on my novel SHADOWS IN THE MIST. I found the house and property to be very quiet and private, surrounded by woods. I really enjoyed the nature walks along the nearby forest and creek. The neighboring houses were spaced far enough apart that I never saw them. The rustic house was charming and comfortable. I also like how it's in the vicinity of Austin. I would definitely stay at this house again.

SOTX Weekend

My Husband and I were in charge of booking a house for r trip to the river, and boy did we hit the nail on the head with the Rebecca Creek Ranch. We had 3 families include us which included 8 kids. This house couldn't of been more perfect, with four big rooms, kitchen dining and living room, and not to mention the beautiful outside with all the trees and room for the kids to run and site see without worrying about traffic. We will diffently be back, and diffently recommend this house to anyone.
