spring hill situated approx 40 minutes north of tampa and 1 hour 30 mins west of orlando
warm weather,sunshine and sparkling spring fed waters combine to create the setting of spring hill a place of tranquil atmosphere and beauty.
this section of the gulf coast in hernando county is known as floridas nature coast, there are many species of animals and birds who make there homes here year after year.
there are 2 local beaches the first pine island a sandy beach with picnic tables barbecues childrens play area and vollyball court.hudson small beach perfect for sunsets.
another great sunset location is bayport[also good for fishing] and bayport inn has a prime rib night to die for.
weeki wachee springs has a wilderness river cruise along the weeki wachee river as well as water park and mermaid show.
there is so much to do from fishing,golfing,bowling,horse riding to busch gardens, adventure island, big cat rescue etc
