On a remote picturesque rocky peninsular, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean you will find this hideaway guesthouse situated.

Surrounded by wonderful natural tropical scenery and well away from the tourist areas, the English and German speaking hosts, Michael & Eveline Vogel, feel that harmony with nature and personal attention to their guests are important. Travellers can enjoy the family atmosphere and the health conscious can be cared for by professional health therapists.

Rooms
All 9 bedrooms have a good view of the sea. Fine natural ventilation makes air-conditioning redundant and each has a balcony with deck chairs. All bathrooms are en-suite with shower and hair drier. There are single / double and bedrooms for three person. The nearby sandy beach, which can be reached direct from the guesthouse, is quite safe for bathing by children of all ages. We do not charge Kids up to 12 years in the room with two grown up.
We also offer sightseeing tours around the island.

Features
In the Cabier Ocean Lodge you can watch the sun rise over the sea from the luxury of your bed, dine on the idyllic restaurant terrace under the shade of mango trees, and unwind in hammocks slung between trees in our garden overlooking the sea.
In our saloon you can enjoy the ‘lighthouse’ experience, watching the play of the waves all around the house.

Wedding - Honeymoon
This romantic place is ideal for weddings, where the imaginative hosts can suggest interesting ideas and organise whatever features the happy couple choose.For honeymooner we also offer our Mangihouse for more privacy.

Restaurant
The gastronomic menu includes Italian coffee specialities, fresh health drinks made from local Grenadian plants, a wide variety of rums and cocktails, local fruit wines and fresh vegetables from our own garden. With a bit of luck, guided by local fishermen, you can catch a lobster. This will then be prepared and cooked in the guesthouse kitchens.

Health, fitness and sport
For the sybarites: a Grenadian spice bath under the starlit skies, aromatherapy, massage and reflexology.
For the more active: archery, fishing, clifftop hiking and many nature trails.
You can snorkel over the coral reefs that surround the house, fish from the rocks with local fishermen or visit many local attractions.
For those interested in diving, the host will help you explore the still little-known dive sites on the east coast of the island.

Location
The guesthouse is on the east coast of Grenada, a mile from the village of Crochu, where you can purchase useful items, and meet locals in Rumshop bars.
In this still undeveloped part of the island, at weekends you can have friendly contact with local families and enjoy ‘liming’ on the beach with them.
The larger town of Grenville can be reached in 10 minutes using the excellent local minibus service, and the capital St Georges and is about 45 minutes away by the same transport. We offer airporttransfers for 30 US$ (50 minutes) or hire a car for you directly to the lodge. Owing to the remote location, guests who hire vehicles are advised to specify 4x4.
