Description of the St Augustine vacation apartment rental

Charming and affordable studio first floor apartment right on the ocean sleeps up to 4 in the sleeping area. There is a comfortable living area, nice kitchenette with a full refrigerator, 2 burner stovetop, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, kitchen sink, and a full bathroom with a shower. The first floor sits behind the dune. You have access to the beach on the house’s boardwalk. All linens and dishes are included. You can rent this apartment for just $500 per week or $1500 per month. There is also the option of renting the 3rd floor guestroom and bath for $65 per night for overnight guests. This studio apartment is perfect for a single person or 2 snowbirds on a budget.

Area Information

Pelican Point is 5 miles from historic St Augustine with an old fort, lighthouse, quaint shops, historic buildings, and great restaurants. We are 15 miles from several famous golf courses including Sawgrass, Players Championship and the World Golf Village. In addition, Serenata Beach Club is only a few blocks north of us and because we are members our renters can join for the week with a family rate. This gives you the option of using their three pools (one is heated), their jacuzzi and fitness room. Tennis is available in St Augustine. Deep sea fishing charters, parasailing, jet skiing, bike rentals, horseback riding, sailboat excursions, ghost walks, boat rentals, are all available nearby. We are about 5 miles from Guana River State Preserve, a bird sanctuary, which has a lake with fresh water fishing and hiking. Marineland is about 25 miles south with dolphin shows. Disneyworld, Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Epcot, and SeaWorld and other Orlando attractions are less than 2 hours away.
Of course the best area is the beach in your front yard where you have natural dunes with conchs, sand dollars, prehistoric sharks teeth, and lots of sea life: dolphins, occasionally whales (wintertime) manatees and sea turtles (summertime) and shore birds year round: pelicans, gulls, anhingas, osprey and eagles. We have three great restaurants within a mile of our house.

Worth the very reasonable price!!

Well, this is definitely worth the $500 price for one week's stay. We made it in this small apartment with a family of 4. Little tight quarters sometimes but again for the price you cannot beat this. Only thing that would have made it better was an oven and washer and dryer. Also, would have been nice to had a deck to sit on and watch the ocean....especially since the house is so close to the ocean. I would have loved to had my morning coffee sitting on a deck watching the ocean. Again, well worth the $500, and for a family on a very tight budget like we were.

Beautiful Beach House

The house was all anyone could want. Views and comfort was exceptional. We had 4 generations together, young and old had a wonderful time. We all agree we would book this home again. I was there 8 days and enjoyed my tea in the screen room and watched the sun rise every morning. What a great vacation and the family will talk and remember for many years in the future. We absolutely loved our time at Pelican Point.The house was perfect the beach was fantastic and being so close to St.Augustine was great fun.The only house ny family has in unison said to rent again next year.Thanks for the terrific vacatlon!!!
