We will stay at the Crescent Silver Sands Motel again. We stayed in room 1, which has a queen bed, updated bathroom and fridge, and older stove. There is a toaster, microwave and coffee maker. The room is dark because of the pine paneling, but place was clean and comfortable. It has a private path to a residential beach. It is a 15 minute drive to Saint Augustine historic district. Dog friendly restaurants: Harry's, Florida Cracker Cafe, OC Whites.

Couldn't ask for better! We were a short walk to the beach and the area was not tourist-y at all. Loved that we could walk our dogs on the beach and that the beach itself wasn't too crowded!

This motel is secluded from all the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the Old City and all the sights. The rooms were clean and spacious enough, even for 3 people. Being an early riser, I could privately sit on the porch in my pj's in the mornings. Pots, pans, towels, and a coffee pot, and even a bag of ice are all provided. The manager was nice enough to leave the keys and room unlocked, as we arrived after hours. 'Miss Betty' was very courteous and made our stay very enjoyable. There was no pet fee as some of the hotels charge, There is no cell phone reception (except for emergency), which made the seclusion even more enjoyable. The room rates were affordable, and I would come back to this hotel on any future visit.

I was looking for a clean, quiet place to escape from my tedious life and occupation as a property manager at another beach community. I was accommodated with very little notice (with my cocker spaniel)....I was comfortable and happy and relaxed on my little porch listening to the waves. Everything I had hoped for....

We knew it would be old but it could have been a lot cleaner. We both could not access the internet so bringing my laptop was a waste of space and time. Not very comfortable seating in the room also. Had to wash dishes and table top before I felt comfortable using them. On the good side it was quiet and close to the beach.

The apartment had plenty of space in for our family of four. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen which allowed up to prepare our own meals. We liked the quick walk to the beach, the quiet atmosphere, and the kids enjoyed playing shuffleboard.
