Description of the St Augustine vacation condo rental
This ideal St. Augustine, Florida vacation home rental is an beachside 2 BR, 2 BA ground floor and non smoking condominium. It is located approximately 150 yards to the sandy beach, 50 yards to the main pool, and 5 steps to the hot tub.

My vacation home is located in building number 2 at St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet resort in one of the beautiful Jacuzzi buildings. These buildings feature an open courtyard with lush vegetation and calming hot tub in the middle. It is a perfect area to relax.
St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort is located Oceanside 1.5 miles south of St. Augustine Pier. If offers plenty of amenities and activities for all our guests to use. Some of these include:
2 outdoor swimming pools (1 heated in the winter)
5 hot tubs throughout property

The fun just begins at the resort! There is still plenty to see and do. The Florida beaches are great for swimming, sunning, building a sandcastle, watching the sunrise, or taking a romantic stroll. Nearby downtown St. Augustine features family attractions such as the Castillo De San Marcos, Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, Potter's Wax Museum, Alligator Farm, Fountain of Youth, 3D World, Lightner Museum, Ghost Tours, Oldest School House, St. Augustine Lighthouse Museum and tour, Marineland, Parks, San Sebastian Winery, and many others. St. Georges Street offers unique boutiques, tasty restaurants, and lively pubs.
If you want to explore even further, Daytona Beach is only 45 minutes away down scenic and historical A1A. Weekend at the beach

The condo was fine, everything that the site listed was provided. The condo is starting to show signs of wear such as broken blinds, tape holding the handles on the cabinet doors. The sliding door is very hard to unlock/lock. The condo could use some TLC. Other than that the access to the beach and pool were very close and easy to use.

Hi Randy, just a follow up. Thank you again for being my eyes and letting me know about some of the TLC issues. Wanted to let you know I've taken care of them. In addition, I've updated the bathrooms with new cabinets, mirrors, painting, etc. I'd certainly welcome you back to check out the new improvements! Hope all is well in Lakeland! This is a nice no-nonsense property. Clean, neat and very safety orientated. The owner, Dan is a walking encyclopedia of St. Augustine and most helpful in offering suggestions for activities and dining options while in St. Aug. His unit (home) is comfortable, easily accessible, well furnished and affordable. We stayed in Nov/08 and less than a month later I have already re-booked for Nov- 09, and am making arrangements for the spring of 09 as well. St. Aug is a great place to get some R & R, and I would recommend this property (home) as a very good option for your lodging needs while in the area. Marsha / S. GA.

the condo is well maintained,& clean,it is well sited for restaurants,shops,(oasis is a must A1A south good food live music) so much to mention, supermarkets,walking distance (yes walk)publix,winn dixie,walgreens,bonos restaurant,starbucks,beach shops,bowling alley, the beach 150 yards away (450 feet) security 24hr 7 days gaurds on duty all the time at gatehouse,tennis courts, swimming pool,jacuzzi,computer access on site at the main office & fishing in either of the lakes(done it) on site.If you dont have your own vehicle,there is a bus service outside the main gate opp comfort inn it takes you to St Augustine,picks up in the square St Augustine, for the return jouney back runs every hour,if you want a good place dans got it. visit marineland A1A south,washington oaks park, freshwater fishing there,devils elbow for bait A1A south,only gripe no !!tea pot!! we survived a british thing,stayed 2 weeks wish it was a month,missing you already Roger & Denise b back one day enjoyed it...

It had everything we needed and the position on St Augustine beach was perfect for days on the beach or exploring historic St Augustine.I was not out of touch with my business as you could use the computer in the office for a very reasonable $4 an hour
We will be recommending it to our friends as it is SO much nicer than a cramped hotel room and being able to fix the odd meal in the condo is so relaxing (and saves $$$). Thanks again for a wonderful experience!
