Description of the St Augustine vacation condo rental

Our condo offers spectacular views over Atlantic Ocean. Just a short stroll across an elevated boardwalk takes you through the dunes to the most breathtaking and widest beach in the Florida. Sugary white soft sands stretches several hundreds yards from dunes down the ocean.

Since our condominium is one of four in a uniquely shaped octagonal buildings there is great peace and privacy. The octagonal shape allows for a large dining/living area, spacious enough to seat your entire group. Each bedroom offers their own private baths, which separate the 2 rooms for maximum privacy. The master bedroom offers a jacuzzi under the windows, perfect for listening to the pleasant sounds of waves. The master bedroom and living area have large sliding glass doors, which enters onto a covered porch along with breathtaking view of ocean. To make the winter evenings more cozy and comfortable, there is a real wood burning fire place.

The grounds of the property are wonderfully landscaped gardens traversed by boardwalks throughout. The grounds include 3 swimming pools and 2 open-air hot tubs. The deck area around the pool offers plenty of outdoor seating and tables for lounging or outdoor meals cooked on gas grills scattered around the property. Lighted tennis courts and fitness area available.

Area Information

Major attractions and activities exist nearby in St. Augustine, the oldest European settlements in North America. A Spanish fort dating to the 1700s, El Castillo de San Marco is located on the waterfront of St Augustine, and real cannon are fired every weekend. A smaller Spanish out post is located at the southern end of the island. It is accessed by a short ferry ride (for free!) across the intercoastal waterway. Numerous museums and restaurants are located downtown. The St. Augustine lighthouse is open to the public and an alligator zoo is just down the main road. Boat rentals, motor boats, sailboat and kayaks are available locally and fishing is great, either off the beach or in the lagoon behind the island

Christmas staycation
