Description of the St Augustine vacation home rental

House has 3 bedrooms and 3 queen size sleeper sofas (2 in living room and 1 in the den). Sleeps 12 comfortably. House was completely remodeled with all new interior and furnishings in June 2007. Deck has a grill with a wonderful, unobstructed view of the Beach. Complete with all kitchen appliances, washing machine and dryer. All the comforts of home. Owners live about 3 miles away, so if you need anything give us a call and we will see about purchasing it for the house. We want you to enjoy your visit and return as well as tell all of your friends, so we are VERY motivated to make your stay enjoyable.

Located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, in a cozy Beach Community. Very Private and somewhat secluded area with several WONDERFUL local restaurants. Entire house was renovated with all new furnishings in June 2007. Walk north along the beach for a wonderful Ocean view or walk south and enjoy the wonderful view of the Inlet, St. Augustine Lighthouse and Downtown St. Augustine across the Bay. Outdoor shower. Walk to the marina for Jet Ski rentals and Deep Sea Fishing trips. Very Elegant Town Center with Publix and variouse retail shops and restaurants is now under construction and is location within walking distance. 5 minutes to Historical Downtown St. Augustine, which has the Oldest Everything (I think) in the U. S. (Oldest Jail, School house, etc. Ripleys Beleive it or Not, various other museums and shopping galore on St. George street in Downtown St. Augustine. 1 Hour from Daytona (Beaches, Speedway and airport) and Downtown Jacksonville (home of the Jaguars). 2 hours to Orlando (Universal Studios, Disney World. Watch the space shuttle take off from Port Canaveral from the Front Porch. Golfing is everywhere down here with Sawgrass Country Club approx. 15 minutes away.

The area is rapidly changing with the new construction of the Town Center complex. There are several local restaurants that are wonderful. We now offer a 7 day membership to Serenata Beach Club for $160. Club has a restaurant, pool side bar and grill, hot tub, adult pool overlooks the beach and fitness center. Membership also available for longer terms if desired.

The beach house on Vilano Beach was comfortable, roomy and on the beach. It's location was convenient to activities in St Augustine. I enjoyed my stay at this rental and would be interested in renting it again.

our large family rented two homes for our annual 4th of July Reunion. Our Vilano Beach House was closest to the ocean so we mostly gthered there. Wonderful great room with an open kitchen and dining area. Perfect for a crowd. Thanks for a wonderful spot. Vilano is beautiful; watched fireworks from the old bridge. Last night celebration at Cap's --Yum.

We came there with a few friends and family for our wedding and the location is the best.The house is spectacular,couldnt have picked a better place.The owner and father were so nice and very helpful.Very nice people. We had the best time and are definitely going back every year.we loved the house and the location. gets a major A+++++ in our book. This place is going to be the place for us to spend our anniversary every year. its a 10 star location and house.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we loved it. Just enough privacy so you can enjoy each others company without interference. Street is very quiet and clean. Restuarants are great and very short 2 minute drive into St Augustine. I like Vilano Beach because it is peaceful and not over crowded. Definatly plan on staying again!!

From the moment I arrived I felt at home in this lovely beach home. The house is gracioulsy appointed but it is the proximity to the ocean that makes it unique. I have loved my am walks with my labradoodle on the beach, and have been awed on a daily basis by the sunrises. Golfcoures nearby are another plus. This house is built for entertainng. Have enjoyed having new friends for dinner. IN closing I think the best thing I can say is I found it so charming I have signed up for another 4 months next year. Defintely a 5 star accomadation Dorothy Jean Duddy

 

 Scenic, relaxing & roomy, November 7, 2008

Four adults visited for a four day weekend of football and relaxation. this was our first stay at this location and plan to return next year for our annual visit. it is located off the beaten path with an exceptional view of the Atlantic. The roar of the surf and the ocean winds were very theraputic and relaxing from the house or the deck. The beach it self was a very short walk over the dunes via a board walk just off the property line. The house was very roomy, cmfortable and well supplied with with everything from towels to kitchen utinsils. It provided a perfect setting for a social gathering and stretching out. The huge dining table was a big plus for everyone eating comfortably, playing table games and planning the weekends activities. The location has a remote beach feel yet we were within a short drive to the heart of St. Augustine's restaurants, sightseeing, shopping and tourist venues. We highly recommend this location, Book it, you won't be disappointed!

We crunched our 6 grandkids and various adult children into this comfortable house with an ocean view. The beach is very accessible and kid-friendly. It's a great location for a family and bonding time with grandkids.
