Pelican Landing is what we call our new 2 Bedroom 2 Bath vacation home near historic St Augustine, Florida, just 1 block (600 feet) from the white sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean just south of the Matanzas Inlet.

Description: Our vacation rental home is on a natural "Old Florida" island called Summer Haven. It is elevated on 9' columns, has cathedral ceilings and tile floors, with a open living area and lots of windows. There are double glass doors in the master bedroom and breakfast area opening out onto a covered porch that spans 2 sides of the home surrounded by native trees. The observation deck on the east end affords a view of the ocean and the Inter-Coastal Waterway over a forest of gnarly wind swept native oak, and magnolia trees.

The neighborhood is a quiet single-family residential area with a mixture of owner-occupants and vacation rentals, The beautiful white sand beach is just a 2 minute walk away and is nearly private as automobiles are not allowed and parking is scarce for non-residents. There is an excellent seafood restaurant and bar just a quarter mile away and a convenience store also. As we are on an island, fishing and boating is available in every direction.
