Our Blue Parrot Beach House sits on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the #1 house we have for ocean views as it is perched as close as you can be.

With a lovely color, Blue Parrot Beach House looks directly at the Atlantic Ocean. From the windows and sliders, Watch the sun rise (and dolphins cavort) at dawn over the ocean. The views are absolutely unbelievable! And you can enjoy them from slider doors and windows -- you'll have such fun exploring all the unique spaces in this house.

Inside, Blue Parrot retains the feel of a beloved old home, yet contains updated fittings and furnishings. On the 2nd level is the living room, dining and kitchen area.

The living room is laid back and welcoming, with ultra-comfortable sofas, and a new HDTV. Doors lead out to the patio. It's the kind of space you immediately feel at home in, and you may find yourself settling down to gaze out at the ocean without even unpacking. You're home!

Between the living room and the kitchen is a sun-filled dining area with a table and great ocean views. This is clearly Family Central, the nerve center for everything from the laptop (you have free wireless Internet at Blue Parrot) to heated games of Go Fish. Station the camera and binoculars here; there will always be someone around to grab them when exciting things occur!

The kitchen at Blue Parrot is thoroughly functional with the space you need for food and drink. You'll find everything here to prepare and serve meals, plus time-savers such as a microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and blender. There is also a breafast bar with 4 stools for casual dining.

When it's time to retire for the night, you have many choices. On the 2nd floor is the master bedroom with queen bed. Also on the 2nd floor is a kids room with 2 twin beds. Acting as our 3rd bedroom is a loft above the 2nd floor. Accessible by a spiral staircase, this cozy loft has a full sized mattress.

But, the fun has only begun. Climb the spiral stairs to the 1st floor and find a wonderful multi-purpose entertainment room with 55" HDTV, game system and queen sleeper bed. There is also a ping pong table.

The 2nd floor living room features a 37" HDTV, DVD player and receiver.

Blue Parrot is in Summer Haven, an historical area that is quickly vanishing. It's very close to Fort Matanzas, and is just 15 minutes from St. Augustine, the oldest city in the nation. The beach is quiet here, with plenty of wildlife and no traffic or crowds. Come stay in this beautiful spot before it is changed forever!
