Description of the St Augustine vacation townhouse rental

Newly renovated town home located atop 35 ' dune overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Direct oceanfront. Go out slider, onto the porch, down the steps - and you are on the beach. Upper floor has 3 bedrooms and (2) full baths and linen closet. Master bedroom has porch on ocean side, king size bed, flat screen TV, and whirlpool tub in master bath. 2nd bedroom also has porch on ocean side with king size bed. 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. Middle floor includes an atrium section in living room which provides unobstructed ocean views, fully equipped kitchen, dining area that seats six, pantry, 1/2 bath and a laundry. Both floors have panoramic ocean view. Direct TV and wireless internet. Wood floors and granite counter tops throughout. Central heat and air. Ground floor has large 2-car enclosed garage.

Area Information

Town home is located 7-9 minutes north of historic district of St. Augustine.

Intracoastal and boat ramp is 1/2 mile west and watercraft rentals are 2 miles south. St. Augustine Premium Outlet Mall is 12 miles to the west and Guana State Park is 10 minutes to the north. The St. Augustine Ampitheatre (15 minutes), the Alligator Farm (15 minutes) and Marineland (30 minutes) are to the south. The World Golf Village is 20 minutes away and Sawgrass/Ponte Vedra is 20 minutes to the north. There are many other golf courses in the area. It is 90 minutes to Orlando, 50 miles to the Daytona Airport (DAB) and 55 miles to the Jacksonville Airport.

Great restaurants are in the immediate area (all within 2 - 5 minutes) such as Benito's (Italian), The Reef, (ocean front seafood) - you can walk on the beach to this one, Cap's (seafood), Aunt Kate's (Continental) - both on the Intracoastal, and in the city there are many, many other wonderful restaurants.

The condo is right on the water and beauitfully decorated. It was great to be able to run out your door and be right on the ocean. It was quite when we were there and just a wonderful stay.

Me and my family recently stayed here, and it was Beautiful!! The views were awesome and the Beach was just steps off of the deck leading down to the beach. The bedrooms were in great condition..other than 1 room had a fan that was sticking and needed a little shove to get going. The place was very clean and nice. Our person that we dealt with the whole time was extremely nice and very easy to talk too. Water pressure was so so..and it kinda smelled like the ocean..but we got over that real quick! I would recommend this place to any romantic couple..or a family of 4. As far as things being close buy like attractions, food, anything tourists or even for the kids...was within 10-12 miles max for us. The kids will love this place called Adventure Landing off of SR 16. We even loved it me, and my wife that is. Go Karts for big and small, putt-putt, arcade games, batting cage, and food! The Lighthouse was cool..approximately 291 steps to the top..not for anyone with back or leg problems.
