Nothing like it - just being there near the beach was great. I highly recommend this place.

My husband, mother and I had a wonderful two night stay.(My brother lives about five minutes from the duplex, so it was perfect.) We truly enjoyed the place and hopefully will be returning for another visit in June. The weather was fantastic. Ms. Rivero was so very nice to us, and made us feel right at home. Perfect location and the beds were very comfortable.

Our granddaughter visited us from Virginia which she does each spring break in high school. We had visited St.Augustine together during previous spring breaks but had to return to our home near Ocala, FL each day. We decided to visit our favorite town this year (2010) for 5 days straight. We have a dog which we wanted to take with us so we decided to use the internet to find a nice place that allowed our dog. Using Google, we searched for such a place in or near St. Augustine and found very few that suited us. We decided to contact the owner of a nice sounding rental in Vilano Beach, which is just minutes from downtown. The pictures were nice but we wanted to see for ourselves before committing any thing, so we drove the two hours to the rental. Maria Rivero, the owner, of the 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo/apartment was very accommodating and let us in to see the rental for ourselves. We were more than pleased with the location very near the beach and especially the layout and furniture. Cable TV and a full kitchen were also available. We knew our granddaughter and doggie would love it, which they did during our wonderful stay. Maria lives in the front of the duplex and we were in the rear part of the house. She was always available and informative about where the library and grocery store were. Would we do it again, you bet. But better get your reservation in early because others have found this rental too. We put our deposit down 3 months early and very glad we did.
