Description of the St. John's vacation home rental

Hipditch House was featured in the May 2008 Canadian Home & Country Magazine and is part of the CapeRace Cultural Adventures boutique tour operation. The decor includes contemporary furnishings which create a "Coastal Living" atmosphere. The house has three bedrooms, an expansive kitchen with bar, and offers incredible views of the city and harbour. In addition, it has a south-facing deck with barbecue has that offers views of the towering rock face base of Signal Hill as well as the city and harbour. The house is fully equipped, including Internet, television, stereo, dining place settings for eight. One bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, one room with a double bed, and one room with a double and a twin bed. Laundry facilities are on premises.

Area Information

Located in the Battery Neighbourhood of St. John's at Signal Hill. 10 minute walk from downtown-- On the North Head Trail- Shares property line with Signal Hill National Park.

Lovely spot for family visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed the location of the cottage. The Outer Battery area of St.John's is steeped in history, gorgeous scenery and access to all levels of walk and hiking activity. The people are friendly and helpful to all. The upper cottage fulfilled our needs very nicely. The lower floor bedroom was too separate from the rest of the cottage for us, as we had looked forward to waking up with our grandchildren.
