Enjoy our super clean cottage just 2 short blocks down unpaved roads to private Lake Michigan access or drive 1/3 mile to Township Beach/Park. Both have easy beach access...no high bluff nor a ton of steps. WASHER/ DRYER, CABLE TV, DVDS AND VCRS AND HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS--WIRELESS, INCLUDED!

Our cottage is very well maintained, updated "Grandma's House" warm and inviting atmosphere with an easy living, comfortable and affordable luxurious surroundings in convenient quiet location for romantic/family/buddy/ reunion/ and other getaways for the weekend in winter and fall or weekly in spring and summer. Long-term rental also available. It has all the conveniences of a hotel, but the comforts of home.

Furniture is new and there are conveniences that make vacationing easy--3 TVs w/cable TV , DVD/VCR, washer and dryer and all the conveniences for fully stocked kitchen. You will only have to bring your swimsuit, skis or bicycles depending on the season and your preference.

Sleeps 6-7 people (king bed in MBR downstairs; 1 queen bed in each of 2 upstairs bedrooms; Twin aerobed with b/in electric pump stands off floor- 20". Nice big yard with kids swing set and jungle jim, parking for up to 4 cars and lots of extras.

Plenty of cross country skiing, wineries, antique stores, biking, hiking, boating, and other attractions available.

This a quiet heavily wooded residential area off Marquette Woods Road, exit 23 off I-94. Our home is one of the few remaining true updated cottages, which is on a large over 1/2 acre lot. There is a children's swingset play area in the back yard and patio area for grilling. A Mosquito Magnet repels most mosquitos so you can enjoy being outdoors in the summer months without getting eaten alive. There's a firepit and gas grill available as well as comfortable outdoor furniture and tables.

The homes between ours and the lake are a mix of tear-downs/million dollar rebuilds, custom lake homes and updated traditional cottages or wooded lots. Our road is paved, but most leading to the beach are not paved. St. Joe's quaint pedestrian mall and quaint downtown restaurants and shoppes and Silver Beach are about a 10 minute drive away. Harbor Country, antiquing, outlet mall shopping and wineries are all within 20 minute drive.

Country feel with low traffic unpaved streets, heavily treed and lots of greenspace quiet residential neighborhood or cottages and newly built lake homes. Saint Joseph's city beach/marina and quaint downtown with shops, restaurants, antiques is only 5 minute drive away, but it seems like a world away. Closest airports, Kalamazoo and South Bend. Detroit 3 hours away. Chicago 2 hours or less. Exit 23 off I-94.
