Spacious comfortable accommodations at affordable prices on the south coast of Barbados. This beautiful apartment in Maxwell Christ Church is a 5 min walk to the clear blue sparkling Caribbean Sea. The apartment is located within a mile of the popular Oistins fish market and St. Lawrence Gap. Both locations offer a wide variety of restaurants, exciting nightclubs, shopping and water sports. The 3 Bedroom 2 Bath unit is fully furnished and equipped with a full kitchen, cable TV, telephone, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and maid service on request. Tucked in a quiet residential area just off the main strip you'll be close to the action.

Area Description

Local Activities: Maxwell Christ Church is right in-between the entertainment district of St Lawrence Gap and the popular Oistin's Fish Market. There are amazing beaches in walking distance from Dover, Maxwell and Welches all located right off the Maxwell Coast road. Super Markets are within a mile as are several restaurants, bars and pharmacies located right in the neighborhood. Silver Sands offers some of the best Wind and Kite Surfing on the island and is a short 10 minute dive from the apartment. Bridgetown and the city center are also 15 minutes away and offer great shopping, entertainment and dining in the heart of the city. Buses, taxis and Zed vans are easily accessible from the apartment.

I visited Barbados in late August / early September of 2008 and stayed there with my family. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and super close the beach. It has all of the amenities that you need and is very neat. I would highly recommend it to anyone especially a family or multiple people who are traveling together who want to stay in a comfortable location that feels like home and not a hotel! The neighborhood is lovely with nice houses, trees, flowers, birds, etc. There are many places to go within walking distance including St Lawrence Gap, the bird sanctuary, restaurants, plus of course the crystal clear beaches! We had no complaints whatsoever! We can't wait to go back!!
