Conveniently located across the bridge from the Public Marina & Restaurants at Knapps Narrows (open year round), you can reach the cottage by land or sea. Local activities include bike, kayak & boat rentals, as well as sail boat & fishing charters. If an uninterrupted relaxing getaway is more to your liking - come and enjoy all the comforts of home under the spectacular sunsets on the Chesapeake Bay. Just 2 hours from Baltimore or Philadelphia International Airports.

Walking distance to Public Marina @ Knapps Narrows; public waterfront areas for viewing the sunsets, crabbing, etc., Sullies Deli just across the road to your left(excellent sandwiches/pizza/take out) on Tilghman Rd; gas, bait & convenience stores also within walking distance. Harrison's restaurant & lounge is a great place for breakfast on the Island or venture into St. Michael's for the Saturday morning farmer's market, winery tastings & events, Perry's cabin (1001 places to see before you die!) has an amazing view, awesome restaurant ($$$), pub (less expensive) & spa if you're looking for a special night out. There are two grocerie stores in St. Michael's (Acme & Graul's).

Great Place to get away from the world relax and unwind. The house was recently remodeled and they have done a wonderful job, although we would recommend maybe moving or having a way to hang the shells to the side they can become a little annoying after awhile:). The kitchen has everything you need and the welcoming touches that the owners have added were a nice surprise. We really enjoyed the backyard hammock on the cool summer evenings, biking during the day around the island, and there was lots of great fishing all around. Best Sunset watching location was at Lowe's Wharf where we caught a few cold beverages, some local music, and an incredible sunset. We would definitely go back again and stay for a long weekend. There is however, very limited cell service at this location but you are there to get away so it wasn't that big of a deal to us. The house has a TV, but no local channels or cable so bring lots of DVD's for rainy days.
The house was spotless and had all the necessary conveniences to relax, cook and sleep. Near sailing,kayaking and fabulous food. We had a wonderful extended weekend stay.
We visited Tilghman for the first time in March and loved it so much we have come back several times and look forward to our next trip. Love The Bay Hundred Restaurant and The Crab ClaW!!!

Time stands still on the eastern shore. It feels as though the days are longer, the air is lighter and the rest of the world is a million miles away - especially on a warm breezy day. The Chesapeake Bay is generally warm, mild and restorative whether we're sailing, kayaking or sitting at a look out point watching the sunset. We ride our bikes for miles; enjoy quiet afternoons under the shade tree out back and love the farmers market, winery & crab season! This Spring is the beginning of our third year and we love the down home feel of the island and treasure our time together here. It is always a pleasure to welcome kindred spirits into our home away from home! Enjoy!!!
The more time we spend on the Eastern Shore the more we love it. The cottage is super clean, charming and very cozy. The summers here are beautiful, especially sailing out on the bay. So much good food and very friendly people!
