Description of the St Michaels vacation home rental

Beautiful like new waterfront home on the Chesapeake Bay, 5 minute drive to Historic St. Michaels. Minutes to many quaint watermen villages. Shared waterside pool, beach, kayaks, small boat, childrens playset. The property was designed to take advantage of the incredible views of the Chesapeake Bay. Every bedroom walks out onto a deck/porch with comfortable rocking chairs. Great outdoor dining area. Direct waterfront views and awesome sunsets!!

Area Information

The Village of Claiborne is a 5 minute drive to historic St. Michaels. Claiborne was a little ferry town in the early 1900's. The railroad met the ferry and transported travelers here before the Bay Bridge was built. Our property looks directly over the stone jetty that served as the dock for the ferry. We face west and enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine. We have a lovely sandy beach. We are just minutes from many small watermen villages, great restaurants and shops.

Beautiful View, Great Family Vacation!

Endless Sunset is a beautiful property on the Chesapeake Bay!! They advertise 3 bedrooms but it technically has 4 plus a fold out couch and a couple of cots. We comfortably slept 8 (6 adults, 2 children) and could have slept a couple more! The owners live on the property (in the house next door) with their children and were very friendly and helpful in giving us tid bits about the area. Very accomodating!! The house is very clean, nicely decorated,has lots of space and an amazing wrap around porch on the lower level and balcony on the upper level. A small 'public' beach is right next door to the property, although we only ever shared it with 1-2 other families at any time. The swimming pool wasn't heated so a little cool in the mornings but warmed up after lunch and the kids loved it! The ony flaw was that the water was a little rusty and the washer stained our whites (I would only wash colors). St. Michaels is minutes from this location so there is plenty to do and eat. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and will definately be back!

The house itself was great- spacious and clean. Being on the bay with the beach and docks available to swim or go crabbing was convenient for the whole family. The owners were very welcoming as well. We had a fun and relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful experience at our rental property and with the support staff. Everything from providing office equipment to fresh soft shell crabs. The property was beautiuflly equipped, the venue was amazing and the view of the bay breathtaking.

Q:Can we crab and fish off the pier??

A:Absolutely...we supply crab pots, dip nets and lessons for the beginners. There is great fishing directly in front of our house on the stone jetty.

Q:Are there really Endless Sunsets??

A:The sunsets are amazing. Every time I think I've seen the best sunset, the next day's even better.

Q:How close is St.Michaels?

A:St. Michaels is a short 5 min. drive into town. Tilghman Island is 10 miles away.
