Description of the St Pete Beach vacation condo rental

This ideal location at the Gulf Strand Resort situated directly on St. Pete's Beach offers a comfortable/upgraded 740 square foot one bedroom/2 bath condo with private balcony, heated pool and jacuzzi. Only a short walk away from everything (no vehicle required) - water activities, shopping, dining, grocery/liquor, car rentals, and fitness centre.

New kitchen appliances and 42 inch high definition TV, DVD player, free WiFi access and free long distance in North America; Bedroom includes king size bed, spacious closet and ensuite; Dining table with 4 chairs, Leather sofa bed and chair; Balcony furniture (lounger, chair and table).

Rental office located on site.

Our non-smoking condo is located on the 2nd floor of a five-story building and includes breathtaking views of the beach and sunsets.

Fully stocked kitchen, with new refridgerator (with icemaker), stove, microwave and dishwasher. Washer/dryer also available.

Extremely well maintained building built in 1990 situated on tropically landscaped grounds with sheltered area with BBQs and washrooms directly next to pool and hot tub.

Gulf Strand

We were impressed with the gulf strand. We stayed in unit 304, which was very clean and nice décor. We were close to several of our favorite restaurants. Nice pool however, small pool deck but worked out fine for us. The property has been well maintained and kept clean, as we could tell during our stay. The staff at gulf strand was very nice and helpful. We look forward to returning to the gulf strand.

Wonderful Vacation

My husband and I just finished a wonderful vacation at this condo unit that is just as it appears in the ad. It is very clean and welcoming and the kitchen is very well stocked. Both bathrooms have a good supply of towels and wash cloths. The front of the building faces Gulf Blvd. and the back is right on St. Pete Beach - one of the finest in Florida - so you have the best of both worlds. You are close to all amenities - Publix grocery store is in a small plaza across the road and a store next door has the most delicious ice cream. Spinners is a fine dining rotating restaurant just down the road that is right on the beach and has amazing views of the sunsets. Brenda, the owner, and Betty, in the complex office were both very helpful and kind. We would definitely return.

Hi Brenda,
We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and exactly what I would want for a stay at the beach. I am very excited for you to be new owners!
Suggestions I would offer--NOT complaints, just things you might consider--would be these few minor things:
Beach Chairs--I only saw one chair in the closet. Usually it is good to have two chairs. Even if they are cheap or well worn chairs, a set is typically what I find in rentals.
Towels--Luckily, I brought my favorite towel. But it would have been nice if there were a couple of beach towels with the linens. Even if you bring a towel, they get wet or dirty, so it is nice to have another couple. I see people take bath towels out to the beach, but always seems like they are doing something they shouldn't.

These are just my personal preferences--and very minor.

In general, we loved the condo and the area. We used a sand bucket in the closet to collect shells on sunrise walks. We walked to Jimmy B's for drinks, Crabby Bill's for dinner, and grilled out one night on the grills downstairs. We did have to make the trip to Clearwater for breakfast one morning--Clearsky Cafe has pancakes and french toast that we have declared to be better than the pancake houses in Gattlinburg!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend at your condo in St. Pete. We had a happy stay. Your condo was absolutely perfect for our visit. I stay in alot of places on my visits to the states as it is much better for me to have my US family stay with me at condos rather than motels. Your condo is the best-stocked one I have stayed in. The range of supplies you have in the kitchen is really impressive. The cooler, beach supplies and washer and dryer were very much appreciated. You have done a great job with your condo. I look forward to staying there again next time I am in Florida. Great location and fantastic value.
