Description of the St Pete Beach vacation home rental

This newly updated 5,400 square foot, unique waterfront compound is located on the inter-costal waterway, and the semi-private island of Vina Del Mar, within walking distance to the beach. It is magnificently decorated, yet child friendly; designed for the Briggs family of five. The split floor plan is furnished with all the amenities to make parents and children happy.

The outdoor facilities include a huge 50 �� pool, attached heated 10-person spa with spill over, outdoor shower, ping pong, jungle gym with swings, slide, two deep-water docks, and multiple private decks.

Enjoy watching boats, dolphins, manatee's, and the sunsets. The fishing is excellent off the docks. This island paradise offers safety and the peace and quiet that most people desire for their family vacations or romantic getaway's.

Bring your own boats and tie up to the docks. There is a "put in" just minutes away across from the Don CeSar Hotel. If you can not bring your own boat you can catch the water shuttles to Shell Island and Egmont Key, deep sea fishing, dolphin and sunset tours, just a 15 minute walk away at the Merry Pier.

Area Description

Enjoy the ambience, privacy, and economy of a private estate with hotel amenities close at hand, while you are a short walk to the magnificent Gulf of Mexico beach, seven unbroken miles of white sugar sand! The Tampa International Airport is just 30 minutes away and the airport limo will drop you at our door.

Great seafood restaurants, a large deli, and a marina are a short walk away. The historic Eighth Avenue Pass-a-Grille shopping district, fishing, and restaurants are a 15 minute walk south on the beach, and the beautiful Don CeSar Hotel and Beach Resort is a 15 minute walk north on the beach.

The Tourist Trolley stops at the entrance to the island, giving easy access to all of St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, Madeira, Redington Shores, and Clearwater Beaches. Tours pickup at the Don CeSar Hotel for all major Tampa Bay and central Florida theme parks and attractions, Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and The Ice Palace, home of the Tampa Bay Lighting.

Other Vacation Rental Amenities

04/21/07 Your home was the base of operations for our two families. There were 7 catfish and a handfull of perch caught off the end of the dock. Thank you for opening your home to our two families. While we were here we enjoyed each others company.

Sunday-Arrived

Monday-Chilled out by the pool. Fishing from the dock with our usual lack of success.

Tuesday-Disney (About 1 3/4 hours). Went to animal kingdom. Dinner at Silvas Restaurant was slightly disppointing.

Wed/ Thurs- Beach & Pool. Dinner at Snappers was excellent. Highly recommended.

Friday-Universal studios (2 hours). Recommend paying for the express plus pass then you can do both parks in one day.

Saturday-Fort De Soto Beach. The north beach is a beautiful beach. Breakfast at the Seahorse. We saw dolphins from the peir.

We had a great stay and this is a wonderful home for a family vacation. Many Thanks.
