This charming, well-appointed, comfortable home in St. Pete Beach, Florida is only a 5 block walk to the beach.

The home has two stories. The main living area is on the second story. Look out over the water and watch the large sailboats and yachts sail by through large sliding glass doors off the kitchen, the dining area, the living room, and master bedroom. The beautiful new kitchen boasts cherry cabinetry with granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. This cozy home sits on a calm channel that leads to the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. As you look out over the water you will see an endless variety of birds as well.

The main living area of the 2nd story is accessed by stairs on the outside of the home, both in the front and back.

The first story is an 'open living space' with a sectional sofa, TV, 2 twin beds, a fridge, and full bath, off the pool area. It is cooled by a wall a/c unit. This space is generally not used, but is finished and new.

This property has ceramic tile throughout the living areas, and new carpet in all bedrooms. All the rooms are freshly painted. All bathrooms are completely renovated.

There is a lovely entry, huge new sofa with new furniture, 50" PlasmaTV and stereo.

The master bedroom, has a new king sized bed with pillowtop mattress for a deep and peaceful night's sleep.
It also provides a full ensuite with stand-up shower. There is a large walk-in closet in the master bedroom.

The master bedroom adjoins a "study-bedroom", with a desk for your computer, and day bed. This provides two additional twin beds (a day bed with a trundle underneath) for other guests, or as a retreat from your snoring spouse.

The second bedroom and bath are on the opposite side of the home. It sports Tommy Bahama furniture, a queen-sized bed, a walk-in closet, and it's own full bathroom, with tub and pedestal sink.

The dining room seats eight.

Enjoy your morning coffee or tea, or a meal, on the covered upper deck (which overlooks the pool area), where you'll have a great view of the legendary Don Cesar hotel.

Just below the upper deck rests a beautiful solar heated pool, with a southwest yard and palm trees, overlooking the sailboat canal. Occasionly dolphins (and even manatees) swim by to say hello. You can fish off the long dock or just watch the sunset from the dining room, living room, master bedroom.


A whole-house water filter has been installed, providing you with both safe and tasty drinking water (and water for bathing).

There is a full size washer and dryer provided on the main (second) floor.

The home is equiped with high speed internet and cable TV. There is a land line with free calls to the US and Canada.

This home is perfect for 2 couples. THERE IS A ONE MONTH MINIMUM RENTAL. PLEASE DON'T EMAIL IF YOU CAN'T TAKE THE HOME FOR (AT LEAST) ONE MONTH. NO EXCEPTION: NO PETS OR SMOKING.

This is a very quiet, delightful, residental neighborhood.

The home is located in "Vina del Mar" a little island across from St. Pete Beach, on the Gulf of Mexico. This island has a real "Old Florida" feel to it. There are a mixture of older, smaller ranch homes and newer large homes on the island. Cycling is popular in the neighborhood, and you're close to the beach trails also.

You can walk to the beach itself (the Gulf of Mexico) in 10 minutes (only 5 blocks). Or walk to one of many local restaurants just "over the bridge" that will lead to the famous Pass-a-Grille Beach. There are several seafood restaurants, and an Italian restaurant within walking distance. There is a local meat and seafood market just across the bridge as well! A Publix grocery store is a five minute drive away, near the hotel section of St. Pete Beach.

The trendy town of Pass-a-Grille Beach has a variety of restaurants and shoppes. It's a 2 min. drive to this area. Old St. Pete beach town, with it's quaint shopping district, is only 7 minutes down the beach by car (or beach trolly).

There is a park for children on Vina del Mar, with free tennis and basketball courts. The beach itself is white sand (but not the real sticky "sugar" type) and never too busy! It's clean, uncrowded, and safe. It's a wonderful place for sunny daytime swimming and fun, or those long romantic sunset strolls by the water.

Boat rentals, jet-ski rentals, kayak rentals, etc. are all nearby.

So, just book your time, reserve a car right at the airport, and plan to drive on over (only 30 minutes) to your most restful and fun-filled vacation ever!
