Description of the St Simons Island vacation cottage rental
Located just down the street from the beach, this Classic 1940's Island Cottage Home was completely renovated in the spring of 2005. Our guests rave about this cottage, which is beautifully decorated and within walking distance to 'everything'!
Walk to the Village or Pier, instead of having to park, for a drink in the evening or a cup of coffee in the morning. This is especially handy for big events where parking is at a premium, such as music at the lighthouse, festivals, art shows and the fireworks during the 4th of July!
The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and has easy access to the many bicycle and walking paths that St. Simons Island has to offer.
Double French doors lead from the bar/den to the large outdoor deck for great entertaining. A large fenced-in back yard allows the kids and dogs a good place to run. You could challenge our nextdoor neighbor G, a veteran of World War II, to a game of Horse Shoes. All the neighbors are great and we take care to ensure that our guests feel at home and respect the folks that live here permanently.
This St. Simons Island Rental (2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom) home is located just 5 blocks from Mallory Park and the Village/Pier Area on St. Simons, which boasts wonderful Pubs, Restaurants, two Parks, Beach Access and a Public Pool, along with Tennis Courts and a great little Library overlooking the ocean! Free movies on Friday nights at the Casino Theatre and great concerts at the Lighthouse!
The Pool - It might be the only public pool located right on the water on this coast! It is located right next to the lighhouse and is absolutely beautiful (the pride of St. Simons). Big kids can ride down by themselves to join their friends!
