St Teresa is located at the eastern begininng of the Florida Panhandle. This is a residental community on St James Island. This is a private and secluded beach community and is known locally as part of Florida's Forgotten Coast. A few of the houses were here before there was land travel to St. James Island. There are nearby attractions such as St Marks Wildlife refuge, Wakulla Springs (one of the largest springs in the world), St Vincent Island and St George Island. The nearby City of Apalachicola has some of the most interesting antique shopping in North Florida along with numerous gourmet restraunts. There are two golf courses one of which is within six miles.

The Florida State University Marine Lab is 3 miles down the road and is open to the public.

This is one of the quietest and most contemplative places in the world. It is beautiful and serene. There is a community dock 370 yards from the front door.
