Description of the Stanfordville vacation cabin rental
Enjoy the wildlife - heron, wild turkeys, deer, geese, turtles, many varieties of birds, etc.
Explore 85 acres of fields, streams, hills on marked hiking trails or just by wandering through the woods.
We offer outdoor cooking facilities (gas grill or charcoal BBQ) in addition to a fully equipped kitchen. Dine outdoors on your choice of picnic tables or indoors in front of a picture window overlooking the covered front porch and the lake. Relax in our hammocks and/or hanging chairs that are scattered around the cabin and also on the front porch. Swim in the lake or enjoy it from our rowboat and/or inflatable boats.

The cabin itself is beautiful and perfect for a couple. The lake, woods, outside deck, BBQ is absolutely gorgeous. The abundance of Christmas lights was the icing on the cake! Plus the owner is one of the sweetest people i've ever met!

Best romantic getaway

We stayed here following our wedding. It was the perfect place to stay. The cabin is so cute and cozy. The property is exactly what you need for a romantic stay. We were able to just unwind and take tithe quiet comfort of being totally alone. No houses in sight. Wonderful walking trails through the woods and rowing in the little boat around the lake. The owner Karen is the nicest lady and happens to be an amazing artist who have the place surrounded by wonderful art. This is a place you will want to come back to again and again. We will for use be back for our anniversary next year! Thanks Karen

Best Weekend Ever!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin this past weekend. Between the fireplace, the cozy welcome from the owner, the great trails to hike and the adorable small towns surrounding the cabin, we really never wanted to leave. If you do go, be sure to bring some groceries or go grocery shopping at the A&P. Cooking out there on the outside charcoal or propane pit is amazing, but making smores with my new husband next to the fireplace, that was magical. If you have the time, lay out in the hammock like we did. Despite the cold winds, it was too serene and wonderful to pass up, so we bundled up and layed out under the autumn sky to read together. Beautiful, beautiful place!
