Restored 1937 two story with gourmet kitchen, screened in back porch, and location, location, location! One of the prettiest streets in State College boro. Old World charm and craftsmanship throughout. Flat screen TV with high speed internet service.
Continental breakfast with additional service on request.
Owners on site(in basement) with two Cocker Spaniels. This home is for those looking for a higher end place to stay. Each bedroom decorated differently. New linens, and towels.
If your group is only 4 or less, rate is discounted to $800.00 per night.

The Perfect PSU Graduation!!!

PSU hotels were in short supply or way too expensive. Instead of booking multiple rooms, we decided to rent a house. This was the best decision we ever made. The home was clean and beautifully decorated and the owners treated us like royalty adding to the fun of the weekend. We were greeted with fresh flowers everywhere, grocery staples in the fridge and to top it off champagne. We had a great pre- graduation dinner using their gourmet kitchen. After returning from graduation we entered the beautiful home lit with welcome candles and our beds turned down. Perfect for the post graduation toasting and pictures. The next day Happy Valley was good to us weather wise and we continued our celebration. First the graduate and other golfers in the family enjoyed a round of golf at nearby Toftrees and returned to a backyard picnic using the owners grill. Everyone had fun playing corn hole in the flat backyard, sitting on the swing soaking up the sun and taking walks to the shops on College Ave. to gather last minute PSU souvenirs and sticky buns from The Diner. Our family experienced first hand why our son fell in love with Happy Valley and we will always have fond memories of PSU. For that I am very thankful

Words could not begin to describe the home/accommodations at 446 Hamilton in State College! The house fulfilled all our needs and then some. The owners, Mitch and Randy, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. All I can really say is that the weekend was probably the most memorable I have ever spent anywhere!
