Description of the State College vacation condo rental

Our updated condo is well appointed with contemporary furnishings and will accommodate 6 adults very comfortably (1 queen, 1 full (futon), 2 twins). This spacious 1000 sq.ft. condo can easily accommodate more guests who bring their own air mattress. Fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, utensils, microwave, toaster, dishes, glasses and Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy morning coffee or a beverage in the evenings on the patio.

Professionally cleaned. Linens provided. Off-street parking. Weekend rentals are check-in Friday (after 12pm) and check-out Sunday (by 5pm). 2 night minimum.

Area Information

Condo conveniently located in State College, less than 2 miles from downtown (College and Allen) and CATA (route R) bus stop in front of the complex. Ample off-street parking.

Property is adjacent to a small park and a larger park with tennis courts and bike trail is just 2-3 blocks away.

DELIGHTFUL HAVEN AFTER A STORM

September 3, 2012

Local State College seniors, we rented the condo for a month while storm damage repairs were done to our home. Attention to detail in furnishings, floor plan, conveniences, kitchen supplies (great!), central air, patio use and many other thoughtful touches made the condo a comfortable, pleasant and delightful haven for us. Laundry availability was a bonus. Other condo residents could not have been nicer to us. Eileen and her husband were professional and great to work with. Conveniently located in an attractive residential neighborhood, this place is a gem! We enjoyed and appreciated staying there.

GREAT place to stay

July 24, 2012

Stayed here for a WEEK (Mon-Sun) with my sister, husband and 22 month old toddler-son. It was perfect - gave us space to play, and privacy for all. The only downside would be there is no bath (for the toddler)- just a shower - but all he needed was a "puddle" to splash in and I used the hand sprayer. There's a playground nearby, and the bus is just outside of the entrance to the complex. It was clean, close to the grocery store (< 1 mile), and my sister even walked to town a couple of times to get in her exercise and enjoy the SC views! The snacks were well received, and we're proud to see the Penn State "flavor"! I can't say enough good things, it was the perfect solution for our visit. I will be suggesting this to anyone needing a place to stay in the SC area... and I hopefully will be back again!

Happy Volley - Memorial Day Weekend

This condo was an excellent choice. There were five of us and we had plenty of room & privacy with the two bedrooms. Fully stocked kitchen, heavy towels, clean; washer and dryer right down the hall. I would recommend this place to any small group traveling to State College. Conveniently located within a 5 minute drive to downtown. The hosts - Ming and Eileen - made us feel very welcome.

Lovely condo!

This very nice rental is exactly as advertised. The rental process was easy and the owners were hospitable and easy to do business with. The condo was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The basket of snacks left as a welcome gift was a nice surprise. The overall building is not as nice as the condo itself, but that didn't bother us. It was a great and convenient place to stay for a Penn State football weekend.

Home Away from Home

My family of 4 stayed at this condo Labor Day weekend and we loved it!! It had everything we needed and more. Immaculately clean, spacious, & fully equipped with towels, kitchen neccessities, huge flat screen TV, XBox for the kids, easy parking, close to grocery stores & restaurants, and conveniently located across the street from Catabus stop to take into campus (just a 5 minute ride). Beds were comfy, and master bedroom could fit an additional queen size aerobed if you need the extra sleeping space. Would definitely try to stay here again for our next visit... much better value for the same expense as a hotel room.
