Pastoral Country Setting

In the farmhouse, there are 3 spacious bedrooms which offer pretty views and a lot of light. All bedrooms feature queen sized beds + 2 of the bedrooms ALSO have single beds. We have brand new beds with high end linens and plenty of warm blankets, pillows, and throws. The bedrooms are nicely separated from each other in different wings of the upstairs, and each bedroom has 2 windows with beautiful country views.

On the first level, enjoy the comfortable living room which has an electric fireplace & French doors that lead to a large deck. The furniture in the living room is plush and offers great comfort while enjoying the fireplace or watching TV (equipped with Direct TV). The view from the living room is also very nice looking out beyond the deck into the pretty back yard. It's a great place for reading your favorite books, playing games (we have several for you in a large basket) or just sitting with family and friends.

Additional to the living room, there is a Front Parlor that features additional space for relaxing.

The separate dining room seats 8 guests at the table and it also has a free-standing electric stove which offers heat and great ambiance (heat settings are controllable). Another exterior door leads from the DR onto the large deck.

There is a charming country kitchen, which also leads out to the spacious deck. Step down just a couple of steps into the pretty back yard. The kitchen is fully-equipped with large and small appliances as well as plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, and cooking pots and pans, etc.

The country kitchen offers a warm and inviting feel with a very large center island. Two large windows at the sink area overlook the large side property. Another window near the desk, in the kitchen, overlooks the back yard.

There are peach trees and apple trees. There are 2 outbuildings. One of the outbuildings is a one-car garage and the other outbuilding we call a "tea house" which is a one-room building fitted with several pastel-painted tables and chairs. There's even a small tree house on the property!

This property is situated on a very quiet country lane which ends about 1/2 mile beyond the house so it is nice and quiet. The house is only 1 1/2 miles from the Staunton Mall and only 5 miles from the center of Downtown Staunton, VA yet you have the feeling you are on a farm way out in the country. Enjoy the scenic pasture land adjacent to our property and across from our property. Most of the time there are cattle grazing in the pastures.
