Description of the Steamboat Springs vacation home rental

Enjoy luxurious comfort at Hunters Cove on the mountain in beautiful Steamboat Springs! This 4600 sq ft home is professionally decorated and located only minutes from the gondola in a tranquil neighborhood adjacent to the ski area. You'll love the breath-taking mountain views from the two-story windows that stretch across the front of the house bringing the beauty of the Rockies into this home's vast living area.

Hunters Cove has 4 spacious bedrooms and 1 large/separate bunkroom (w/4 bunk beds), and can sleep 16 in beds. There are 2 master suites with king beds and 2 bedrooms with queen beds, all with large walk-in closets, tv/dvd/cable and private bathrooms with jetted tubs. There are three living areas which enables different groups to entertain simultaneously: the main floor family room, a lower level rec room and an upstairs loft sitting area. A private six-person hot tub is located directly outside on the spacious wrap-around deck with beautiful views of Mt. Werner.

You may enter the home via the upper driveway into the foyer (w/ 2 closets) that opens onto a large great room w/ two story windows facing the mountain offering spectacular views. Or you may choose to enter the home via the lower level entry door or the 3 car garage w/ coded entry. The large lower driveway offers a significant amount of off-road parking. Upstairs you will enter an immense living room with a gas fireplace, large-screen tv/dvd/cable/stereo and substantial seating. Also within the main floor great room area is a 12-person dining area, gourmet kitchen w/ three sinks, a butlers pantry, two refrigerators and wet bar all facing the wall of windows overlooking the mountains. Past the kitchen you will find the laundry room, powder room and the bunk bed room with 4 bunks. Opposite the bunkroom (on the other side of the great room) is the main floor master bedroom with all the amenities and decorator appointments.
Upstairs is a lovely sitting area w/ wet bar and wi-fi computer/printer station in the loft area which also enjoys the mountain views. The second master bedroom suite is directly off the loft and is exceptionally appointed and includes features such as a 32 inch flat screen tv with dvd/cable, huge Jacuzzi tub, separate shower and powder room. The upstairs palladium windows that make up the end walls of this suite offer stunning aerial views of the surrounding scenery.
The lower level is a walkout with entry via the lower foyer or the coded garage doors. There is a multi-purpose rec room with a 50 inch flat screen tv and DVD/cable. There is also a gas fireplace, large sectional seating, dining/card table and wet bar. Both lower level bedrooms are spacious with queen beds, private bathrooms, jetted tubs and exceptionally large walk-in closets.

Hunters Cove is less than 1 mile (and an easy ten minute free shuttle ride) from the gondola. What an amazing place. So comfortable and the views were awesome. We had an amazing time. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great, kitchen had it all. This will always be our top choice to stay when in Steamboat. Our team looks forward to staying next year during the Mountain Magic tournament. We were definitely spoiled. Thanks so much!

We had 16 family members in this home for eight wonderful nights. The home is gorgeous, spacious, completely stocked with everything you need and the homeowners are gems. Great floorplan and decor. The view out of the large family room window is breathtaking. We would HIGHLY recommend renting this home - Great for large groups and close to slopes.

We had 3 families (13 people)to rent this house for the week of 2/3/08-2/10/2008. This house was very nice and had plenty of space for our group. Everything you need is provided. I have never stayed anywhere that provided as much as this place. The location is close to the slopes and in a nice area. We would highly recommend rentingthis house. We hope to stay in it again.
