Description of the Stevens Pass vacation cabin rental

Mysty Mountain Properties has many wonderful cabins, lodges and chalets to choose from! Many of our properties feature hot tubs, satellite tv and outdoor barbecues!

Prospector's Bend Cabin is and excellent example of one of the many options Mysty Mountain Properties has to offer.

Prospector's Bend is a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom riverfront cabin in the historic town of Gold Bar (an old gold prospector's camp) in the foothills of the North Central Cascades. Nestled on the banks of a sweeping bend of the majestic Skykomish River, large floor-to-ceiling windows offer incredible views of the rushing rapids, river bend, and mountains in the distance.

Two stunning entertainment decks wrap around to showcase views of trains passing by, splendid forest scenery, and a luxurious hot tub with all the amenities: built-in stereo, jetted waterfall, and color-changing LED lights. The distinctive décor features log furniture, a gorgeous river rock fireplace, historic barn wood from the late 1800s, unique vintage touches of the gold prospecting era, and split log finishes throughout.

An outdoor fire pit awaits and a short path just off the property leads to a sandy beach framed in enchanting old-growth stumps, a swimming hole, and a neat rope swing for added enjoyment.

Save 15% until May 22nd! Call for details.

Washington Cabin Vacation, September 28, 2009
By Mary Ann Knowles (Katy, Texas USA)
We had the best time. We loved the cabin. It was all it showed to be on the net and more. We were secluded but still around some people. It had all the modern perks down to a dishwasher. We loved the bed and even the trains. We watched TV and connected with nature. The view was to die for, the hot tub was great. We were very pleased with everything and really hated to leave.

Sunset Falls Cabin, July 31, 2009
By L. Moss (Mill Creek, WA)
The pictures online don't do this justice! Within the hour of our arrival my husband and I were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waterfall. The next day, we took a little trail behind the cabin to find that we couldn't be more than 50 yards from the top of the waterfall. Simply beautiful! My husband and I stayed with another couple and their small child. We took the separate cabin and appreciated the time away from the kidlet.. While our friends appreciated having their own space too. The cabin was well appointed. It had everything we needed for our stay. We had a wonderful stay and even discussed making it an annual event. Thank you!

 Prospector's Bend, June 26, 2009
By Billie & Andrew Tweedy (Barcelona, Spain)
A well-appointed, comfortable cabin with amazing views and a hot tub in fantastic countryside, what more could anyone ask for? Although the cabin is conveniently close to all amenities, it feels totally private with no neighbours on one side, trees screening you from your other neighbours and a wide expanse of river and mountain in front of you. A railway line runs close by and we listened to long, long freight trains trundle by; it added to the chracter of the place for us; as did the chance to see eagles, osprey and humming birds. It was lovely waking up to the sound of the river rushing by and counting how many fisherpeople were stationed on the opposite bank. A perfect, romantic get-away-from-it-all-and-relax spot. We really enjoyed it and are happy to recommend it.

 Birthday Excursion, June 1, 2009
By Brian Hyde (Seattle, WA USA)
My family and I stayed at the Prospectors Bend Cabin and experienced nothing but the most high class treatment. The cabin was well supplied and in immaculate condition. We encountered no issues and were able to work out staying a little later the last day which helped out immensley since there were 6 people there. The river was beautiful, very high and raging throughout our stay and there is nothing in the world like being surrounded by mountain peaks on all sides of you. Plus there are great hiking trails all over this part of the cascades, which we took full advantage of.

 Great time, January 20, 2009
By Spencer Lee (San Francisco, CA)
The cabin was a great and my family had a great time. Things were clean and we had plenty of bedding and towels. The hot tub over looking the river was enjoyable. Overall it was great experience.

 Nice stay, July 29, 2008
By claudine (Seattle)
Stayed at the Misty Moutain cabin in late July. Had a nice stay. The cabin was clean and very well equipped. The kitchen had a large variety of cookware and necessities. The bathroom had a VERY unpleasant odor, especially on the first day. Smelled like a possible sewage problem, and the toilet ran as well. Improvements that could be made are updated bed linens and beds upstairs. Great property though, with great lake access for fishing and plenty of chairs to relax in outside.

 blue river, February 13, 2008
By Roland Stout jr. (Everett, WA USA)
it was an amazing couple of days. The view from where we stayed was great. The hot tub overlooking the river was probably the most relaxing place to be. I would not change anything about my stay.

Hi All, Thanks for letting us stay at your vacation lodge! I surprised my girlfriend for her birthday and she said "it was her best birthday ever! ;)" It made it that much better that we could bring our dog Duke! I think he had just as much fun as we did! Us guys snowboarded on Saturday thanks to Dave getting us tickets and a price break! It made it easy! And the girls went into town for some girl time. I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin to anyone! Just wanted to put in a few words! We had a blast! Can't say enough about the place! It had everything we needed and more! Thanks again! -Calvin

After 8 long months with Dad in Iraq this place gave us a helping hand with bonding. We only have 2 weeks until he is ordered to return to his unit. This place is the definition of R&R. We played soccer w/ our children, caught up on sleep, and grilled out by the fire.Thank you God for the three days we can spend together as a family in such a quiet place. Love, The Reynolds Family (mid-tour leave 2007 Ft Lewis, WA)
We had a wonderful stay at Vista View Chalet. The area is so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is sweet and cozy and we saw a gorgeous coyote in the front yard! We loved our stay here- it was a wonderful getaway from city life! Thanks for everything! -Donzelle & Thomas (Portland, OR)
We spent out first night married together here at Sunset Falls Cabin. It was great- we enjoyed the hot tub and the peaceful noise of the waterfall. Thanks for the getaway! -The Larsons (Seattle, WA)
