Description of the Stevens Pass vacation home rental

Wild Wilderness Estate is a unique geodesic dome house on 10.5 private acres adjacent to the 106,000 acre Wild Sky Wilderness area. Nestled near the river and surrounded by beautiful mountain views, the park like grounds even have a winding stream and their own nature trails. The 2800 square foot home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and is a cozy retreat for two but spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 10 or more.
The master suite has a luxurious soaking tub, and the other two sizable bedrooms are equipped with TV and stereo- great for groups and kids! The dining room seats 8 comfortably and cork floors throughout the home are distinguished and durable. The three story home also has an impressive deck with a gazebo, outdoor shower, 6 person hot tub & sauna. Covered parking is especially useful during the winter months, and a garden and hammock can be enjoyed when it is warmer. There is even two dog houses, a dog run and pet door making this estate a slice of heaven for both you and your furry friends.

The Stevens Pass area has a lot to offer in outdoor activities. Whether it's skiing at Stevens Pass Ski Area or hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, rock climbing or boating, you will find it on Stevens Pass. Wild Wilderness Estate is located 30 miles east of the summit of Stevens Pass in Index. The historic town of Index, which is withing walking distance from the property, sits on the bank of the North Fork of the Skykomish River and is a perfect jumping off point for white water rafting, kyacking, mountain biking, hiking and rock climbing. The Index town rock wall is one of the finest granite climbing areas in the state featuring routes over 500 feet high.

We spent four nights at this retreat. The privacy was awesome and the surrounding acreage was fun to explore. We found a little waterfall back in the mossy woods. Our dog, Taylor, enjoyed having her own door, deck and courtyard. The hottub and sauna came in handy on the cold nights. (Nothing like sitting in a hottub with a glass of wine while fluffy flakes fall all around you.) Our only regret was that we weren't there during the summer. It was obvious that someone works hard to keep the gardens beautiful.
