May 2013: Hello Anna and Thomas, we spent our family-holiday from 19.-25.th of May in your condo in Stockholm.
When we came home there were a lot of things to do, so now it´s high time to say "thank you" for leaving us your flat, for the chocolate and the flowers. This was a very friendly welcome.
We enjoyed the sightseeing of Stockholm and in the evening your condo with the modern furnishing. With the flowers and the candles we could celebrate our meals in a pleasant atmosphere. It couldn´t be better in a restaurant.
In the beds we slept well and we didn´t miss any comfort.
Bakery, grocery, Saluhall, Tunnelbana and buses were in a short distance. This gave us more time for sightseeing-tours.
Our impression was that Swedish people were always friendly and helpful.
Thank you very much and best regards Margot and family
Jan 2013: I stayed in this apartment the entire month of December 2012. The apartment is in the absolutely best neighborhood in Stockholm. I didn't have a car during my stay and didn't even notice. I walked to the local grocery store which is literally 2 blocks away and has everything you need. Great shopping all around the apartment. Huge luxury department store NK is 4 blocks away. Riche restaurant is just 1/2 block. Nobis Hotel is 2 blocks away and has 2 amazing restaurants i went to frequently. I even joined a great gym for the month which is 3 doors down for 70 euros for the month. As for the apartment inside, absolutely perfect! It is quite large for a 1 bedroom. The furniture is modern and comfortable. Bedroom and living room have brand new huge flat screen TVs. Kitchen is modern, full of everything you need to cook, i was able to prepare home-cooked meals regularly. I loved the bathroom and extra-deep bathtub which i used every day. Bedroom has a huge really comfortable bed and wall-to-wall closets and drawers. And i loved the dark wood floors, so chic. I absolutely love this apartment and location and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you! Best Regards Cher
November 2011: Hello Anna and Thomas, It was a great blessing to be able to stay at your condo (or flat) in Stockholm. Everything was so lovely and the design was very well thought out. There was so much room for my personal belongings in the bedroom. You designed the space allowing everything to fit perfectly. I especially appreciated that large counter in the hallway with the great lighting...and held all of my cosmetics and hair products. What a great idea. You had plenty of towels and everything else anyone could have wanted. I really liked nice dishes and glasses. Another really important thing for me was that it was so quiet at your condo. It was so peaceful staying there. The table and chairs became my office away from home and it was great to be able to work on my speaking events in comfort. Hopefully I can come and stay again in your condo. Thank you for renting it to me.
You take care and have a Happy Thanksgiving. Betty
"Great place for a family of four"
Aug 2010: Our family, with two teenagers, recently spent time at this apartment when we visited Stockholm from Wisconsin. It was great for the four of us, and it could work well for a family with 5 kids too, though that might have been a little crowded. The apartment had everything we needed, and the location was as advertised: the best. It is one block away from Strandvagen, which has the trolley, the buses, any taxis you need, and a beautiful walking area, either right along the docks, or under a tree lined walk way in the middle of the street. It was a very short walk (maybe 3-4 blocks) to the city center (which for our purposes was the dock at the intersection of Strandvagen and Nybrokajen, where we caught the Hop-on Hop-off ferries). We could walk to Gamla Stan and also to Djurgarden without any difficulty, and these are two of the places you will want to see if you stay in Stockholm. We were also fairly close to two of the T-Bana (subway) stations. We ended up using the station at Karlaplan (about 3-4 blocks, but these are the longer blocks) but we also could have used the Ostermalm station, which was a little farther, maybe 4 or 5 blocks away. By the way, the subways are very good. The apartment was clean, neat, well supplied, and on the first floor. We were going to stay in Gamla Stan, which might have been nice and quaint, but this location, just a block off Strandvagen, was really in the center of everything. We would strongly recommend you staying here. Craig, Wisconsin, Aug 2010
Sep 1, 2010: We absolutely love your condo. It is so efficient and, now that we are more familiar with the city, we simply could not think of a better location. Stockholm has become, in just two days, one of our favorite cities in the world. And we have never seen so many long-legged and stunning blondes in our lives. And tall! We aren't sure that they haven't been imported just to impress us. We have eaten in three of the restaurants you recommended and wish we had time to visit them again. Thank you for everything. It is beyond our expectations. Best, Judie and Bob
Sep 8, 2010: We really enjoyed our stay in Stockholm. Your condo was in a very convenient location. We were able to walk to every location that we wanted to explore in Stockholm. Regards, Todd
