A beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 full bath, 2,500 square foot cabin on 5.5 acres located in the gated community of Bell Mountain. Spectacular long range views looking into the heart of Doughton National Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains. 5 miles to the back entrance of Stone Mountain State Park.
Vacation in peaceful rustic luxury at Stone Mountain Serenity. This spacious cabin boasts a knotty pine interior with vaulted ceilings, granite counter and vanity tops, stainless steel appliances, high definition plasma TV, stacked stone gas fireplace, high speed wireless internet, huge wraparound deck, Webber grill, finished game room with a pool/ping pong table, big screen TV and dart board. The sleeping arrangements include a king bed, full bed, two single beds and futon. This very private setting is a wildlife lover's dream. Wood is provided for the large outdoor fire-pit. Conveniently located near Yadkin Valley Wine Country, Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Thurmond-Chatham gamelands and many mountain activities.

Stone Mountain Serenity = Amazing!

My family and I spent the weekend at Serenity and had an amazing time! The house is in such a peaceful, quiet setting and has amazing views. We loved sitting on the deck each morning with coffee and hot chocolate just taking it all in. We built a campfire each night for smores and hotdogs. During the days, we hiked at nearby Doughton Park and Stone Mountain and drove down the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house is absolutely beautiful with so many wonderful features and amenities, and the owner is such a pleasure to work with. The Stone Mountain area is beautiful without the crowds that other parts of the NC mountains get during the fall. If you want to get away from it all, definitely try out this house! We can't wait to plan our next visit!

Amazing nature experience

The house is little off the beaten path, but close enought to activities. We enjoyed the quiet and being totally surrounded by nature. We had an evening around the outdoor fire pit and made s'mores. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The owner provided all the information we needed and was available by phone. We will definitely go back!

This cabin's views are even more breathtaking in person. THe cabin is gorgeous, very spacious, and has everything you need for mountain fun. The owner has a visitor guide that gives you options for anything you could want to do from hiking to touring to wine tasting to shopping, etc. This was one of my favorite mountain trips and will definitely be coming back. We were even allowed to bring our dogs and they had so much fun running in the deck which was blocked off so they couldnt run away. Perfect hideaway.

I rented this place with a few friends. We didn't get to stay the whole vacation due to the storm but the owner was courteous to give us our refund. Aside from all that, the day that we did stay we were all amazed by how beautiful this cabin is and we are definitly coming back for more!

We had such a fabulous stay at this cabin! It is extremely well designed and decorated and the beds and furniture are very comfortable. The view from the cabin and the deck are absolutely gorgeous! We loved reading on the huge deck and grilling with the music playing through the speaker system. Plus, it's located close to some beautiful parks and scenery. I would highly recommend a stay at this cabin!

Our family enjoyed every moment of our time in this cabin. The pictures don't do justice to the spectacular views from the deck. Whether it was a cup of coffee in the morning, or a cool beverage in the evening, the deck was a favorite spot for us. Rest assured, if you're looking for a relaxing, family time in a luxury cabin, with all the amenties of home, this is the place. We're sure to book this cabin for another trip. It's very close to Stone Mountain State Park, and within a short drive of canoeing on the New River.

Wonderful Prom Memories

April 28, 2010

We took our daughter and our German exchange student to this cabin with some of their friends after the prom. We had kids of four different nationalities and both guys and girls and and everyone had a blast. There was plenty of good healthy fun even for the "old chaperones". The girls from Germany and Poland said they would love to come back to the cabin before they go back home. Everything was so nice and beautiful. Very relaxing!! Unbelievable views, great gameroom, comfortable beds, and the perfect party atmosphere.
