Vacation Rental Description

This apartment is attached to a new home right on Penobscot Bay with panoramic views of the bay and ocean. This site is secluded in a spruce forest with a magnificent rock bound shoreline over l500 ft. long. You have a private entrance to the apartment which has a deck overlooking the water.

Area Description

Deer Isle and Stonington have many interesting sites including a working waterfront for lobster landings, walking trails, numerous art galleries, restaurants, kayak rentals and the Opera House. The island also contains the world renowned Haystack School of Craft with international faculty during the summer and fall. You can take a ferry boat to Isle au Haut and the wild part of Acadia National Park from the landing in Stonington.
