Description of the Stonington vacation home rental

The Fifield family home is a wonderful opportunity for an oceanview home in an excellent location, but at much more affordable pricing. The lower pricing is only reflective of the slightly more modest nature of the cottage, and somewhat dated style. The home is in the much desired hill top location of an area called Greenhead, with beautiful period homes all overlooking the Stonington village and harbor. The Fifield home is near the end of a dead-end street, surrounded by lawn, shrubs, trees, plantings and granite outcroppings, along with 2 level decking and patio furniture. It offers a picturesque and peaceful setting, with a fair amount of privacy. The views are very good. It is only but a short walk to the downtown amenities or even shorter walk to the nearby lobster coop for fresh lobster right off the boats! Sand Beach is just a 20 minute walk or quick drive away. The inside of the home is thoughtfully put together with comfortable furnishings and is very well supplied. There are 3 bedrooms: the master has a queen, the second bedroom has two twins, and the third has one twin (note, you do walk through the second bedroom to arrive at the 3rd bedroom). There is a bonus twin sofa bed in the den. This is the perfect house for the family on a budget that wants easy access to all amenities. Your well behaved dog is allowed for a fee. No cats please.
