Description of the Stowe vacation cottage rental
This charming and cozy cottage is located on 40 acres of a private residence and includes all the comforts of home including a heated garage. Situated halfway between the village of Stowe and the ski lifts with incredibly privacy. There is a private swimming pond just outside your door which is stocked with trout. It is convenient to the ski lift in the winter and to all the fun of Stowe in the spring, summer and fall. Ideal for leaf peaking with incredible views of Mt. Mansfield just out your window. Inside you will find knotty pine walls, a cathedral ceiling and the warmth of a gas stove. Satellite TV and a complete kitchen on the days when you want to just enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Mansfield. The master bedroom includes a king size bed with attached bathroom as well as an adorable breakfast nook to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the breath-taking views. The first floor includes two outside decks, a screened-in porch, dining and TV area and a bedroom featuring a bunk bed with a double/twin combination. There is no locations more perfect in Stowe.
Hiking trails extend directly from the property which are part of the cross country skiing trails of Topnotch Resort. Four ponds on the property have fish and with a short hike you are at a secluded stream full of brookies! Three miles to the ski trails and three miles to town, it is the perfect location in Stowe.

Our winter in Vermont was more than we could have ever hoped for all because of your cozy cabin and your warm and friendly hospitality. We have such wonderful memories of skiing, skating on the pond, hiking in the woods, doing puzzles by the fire, and snowmobiling! It has been special family time. We cannot wait to return!
