Welcome to Stowe Hollow Farm in beautiful Stowe, Vermont (the Aspen of the East!). This 5300 square foot, custom home with 1500 square foot Red Barn guest home, will comfortably sleep 20 for the vacation of your dreams.
This beautiful property, set on seven and a half acres, is located in Stowe Hollow, approximately one mile from historic Stowe Village. You will enjoy incredible mountain views from every bedroom, all three living areas and two decks. Both children and adults will love the 150-yard sledding hill which begins right outside your door.
This home was made for entertaining and relaxation(perfect for a family reunion!). You can expect state-of-the-art electronics including two Sony 50-inch High Definition TV's with surround sound, DVD, and satellite service, as well as five additional TV's with DVD and satellite. Entertaining will be made easy in this spacious home that includes two fully stocked kitchens, three living rooms, and two dining areas (including one formal dining room). Relax by the fire (two Rumford fireplaces, hearthstone wood-burning stove) as you enjoy the gorgeous views of Stowe Hollow.
After a busy day on the slopes, you can back up to the barn and unload the day's equipment with ease. Two mud rooms with ample boot, ski, and jacket storage ensures that your gear will dry and be ready to go the next day. Will YOU be ready to hit the slopes again? A full-size washer and dryer is available to wash your ski clothes while you enjoy the the hot tub or Jacuzzi bath in the master suite.
Our property has been newly furnished in 2006. The main house has two kings, three queens, and two twins. The guest home has one queen, 2 bunks and a twin. A large portion of our bedding is Stearns and Foster, so you will enjoy a good night's sleep. We are also pleased that a pool table and hot tub have been added to our list of amenities for 2006.
This property is available year round. Pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis with consideration to size, weight, and habits. Additional security will be required for guests bringing pets. This property is a non-smoking facility. Any rental period requires a $300 cleaning fee and security deposit of $1200 that will be refunded at check out, assuming no damages.
The Stowe area is full of activities for all ages, There is a wide variety of restaurants (more than 100), offering fare that ranges from gourmet to kid-friendly, Area shopping, including nationally acclaimed antiquing, is stellar, For those who enjoy a more active lifestyle, there are sporting activities for every season including riding and skiing at the Stowe Mountain resort, ice skating, swimming at the public pool, hiking and, snowshoeing/biking/walking/jogging on the 5, 5-mile recreation path, Just want to relax & unwind? The Top Notch and Stoweflake Spas are just 10 minutes by car.

"We feel so fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful home with members of our family. It is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The view from the back of the house on all three floors is just spectacular. Large windows in every room look out to the mountains and the hollow. Even at night we found we were looking at lights in the distance and the stars and moon above. There is plenty of room for everyone to have private, quiet moments if they wish and wonderful gathering places for a large group. Papa and grandaughter loved their afternoon naps together. Others read while still others watched TV or went sledding out the back door. The kitchen is equipped for a gourmet cook, so every meal was a pleasure. I neverlacked anything needed to cook a complete a meal. We enjoyed most meals at the house because of the large dining tables and the beautiful view from the kitchen table. We can't wait to visit again during another season. I would love to have a group of friends plan a trip to this spectacular property."
